You dont realise how great it is to have money you yall just go to work everyday saveing money in CC Debt when the others close multi billion dollar contracts every month. So when you can have a lot of money i would like to see how your comments would differ.

you know what ppl out there against this phone are also so called crap because not all the specifications of this phone is complete cause compare this on nokia phones out there.. there are so many advantages of this phone that you don't know... this for BUSSINESS CLASS... maybe higher than buss. class.... sorry if i can't explain here the advantages of this phone that you don't know.

to all ppl that complain about features.... Im with u on that one haha. I have 8GB N95 and cant wait till N96 comes! This phone is for one main purpose: Showing off your status to the world. To show that you can do almost you want and to intimidate people with your richness. A good analogy for Vertu Phones: Vertu is to High Rich Class, while Nseries is for High Middle class ( Not counting any of the N7* models except for N76)

just simply stupid to be buying this phone..i dont care how rich your are..you might have alot of dollars and cents, but you dont have common sense.
For example, when you buy a designer product, it have to be in good/perfect quality. Just like if you buy a Louis Vutton handbag, the handbag have to be in good quality leather, and advertise to an extent that everyone knows its expensive, prestige, and luxurious.
Virtu Ascent, is a phone that only supports polyphonic ringtones, which is a technology backed 5 years ago. with the price of this phone, it should have hologram embedded to it!
secondly, it doesn't look as good as phones coming from Nokia, SE, Motorola or even Siemens. well if you like a designer phone, get a louis vutton nokia 7200 or the new motorola v3i D&G (Dolce & Gabbana) phone.
thirdly, It have no wireless functions, nor does it have touch screen or can't even read PDF or Word Documents correctly. Doesn't have voice recognition, mp3 player...for all those functions you can get a phone that does all that for only $1000 ...
So if you are buying this phone, and selling for that price..make it a better quality, better functions, or some better design that tells people straight away, that this phone worth every penny!

I'd love to buy a Ascent Ti. The phone is fantastic looking and looks quality with the range of materials used in the manufacture.
The issue however is not the price tag. I'd happily stretch to that. The issue is the lack of features. I use a Nokia n95 8Gb. A lot of users care about what the phone can do. I'd happily pay Vertu another £1000 on top of the existing price if they could make it do what my n95 does, and make it look so good? How about taking a Nokia n82 and squeezing it into a Ascent casing...Perfection!
Its that same ole same ole mobile phone story...
You have to choose. You can't have it both ways. Style or functionality. I can't comment on the concierge as I've never used it but it could potentially save me £300 a month on my existing service.

hi guys, i just got this phone and i bluetoothed a few ringtones into it, i saved it in "media folder" but i can't make it into a ringtone, is it possible to make it into a ringtone? or how do i make a custom background?? thx!

I just got an Ascent T1 and oh my gosh!!!!Its got a 3mp camera with autofocus and flash,bluetooth,usb and connects to my Mac!!Awsome!!!!

hello i m from bangalore india and i recently picked up an ascent..... does the concierge service work in india. do they give support here??? and the phone has awesome battery back up. only lacks wallpapers and is heavy.
its worth it but.

I love the Vertu Ascent, for me it offers style, qaulity,performance and a first class aftersales care if you ever need it. Above alll the Concierge service is the best, its like staying at The Savoy Hotel, the best!.

I like the Vertu series, because there like Rolex, Rolls Royce , and other luxury brands , but for a mobile.
The only part I don't like is that it's a tad bit thick for my taste, but that gets ignored when you have a luxury brand phone.

Yeah, the phone is ok. What I don't like about it is that the volume key is kinda small. But I'll get used to it. Another cool thing is that it has buttons and a cool LCD. I have three of these, (three colors), and I'm shipping one to my 6 year old nephew for him to toy wit it.

you guys know that this phone is for the service it provides right?
you can probably get into the most fancy dinner even if it's full, you call the vertu service and you ask them to book you 3 seats in a packed restaurant and you've got the place.
also they read you your emails off the web 24/7

Hahaha, pfffffffffffff you must be all crazy.. (don't see this as an offence...and just have a laugh)
If ya like it, just buy it, and if ya don't, you just don't. I mean everyone who buys this phone, has a specific wish and that seems not to be technology. So their choice innit... It would be nice of course when it had more recent technology, but then again.. I use my mobile just to call and text... If you want a mobile office, get yourself a Treo, if you like to have a phone with quality components, by this phone. ;) ... Enjoy your own choices, don't let someone make you one..

feature wise its a motorola C115...
imagine having a motorola C115 in platinum upper casing??
