Yeah, the phone is ok. What I don't like about it is that the volume key is kinda small. But I'll get used to it. Another cool thing is that it has buttons and a cool LCD. I have three of these, (three colors), and I'm shipping one to my 6 year old nephew for him to toy wit it.

you guys know that this phone is for the service it provides right?
you can probably get into the most fancy dinner even if it's full, you call the vertu service and you ask them to book you 3 seats in a packed restaurant and you've got the place.

also they read you your emails off the web 24/7

I won one and have no idea what to do with it! I'm a geeky and this is the most anti geek phone on the planet. oh well I can't complain.

If ya like it, just buy it, and if ya don't, you just don't. I mean everyone who buys this phone, has a specific wish and that seems not to be technology. So their choice innit... It would be nice of course when it had more recent technology, but then again.. I use my mobile just to call and text... If you want a mobile office, get yourself a Treo, if you like to have a phone with quality components, by this phone. ;) ... Enjoy your own choices, don't let someone make you one..

crappy phone, i think. yeah, its made out of diamonds but it sucks, no camera, just polyphonic sounds.. plz!

Hello, This phone is for people who enjoy great things. and don't care for price tag I have this phone and I'm not Rich.
What can I say (I enjoy the good things)

i dont know wht it feels like to be very very rich but i think it shud be something different to be a moron...its vertu???
feature wise its a motorola C115...

imagine having a motorola C115 in platinum upper casing??

just simply stupid to be buying this phone..i dont care how rich your are..you might have alot of dollars and cents, but you dont have common sense.

For example, when you buy a designer product, it have to be in good/perfect quality. Just like if you buy a Louis Vutton handbag, the handbag have to be in good quality leather, and advertise to an extent that everyone knows its expensive, prestige, and luxurious.

Virtu Ascent, is a phone that only supports polyphonic ringtones, which is a technology backed 5 years ago. with the price of this phone, it should have hologram embedded to it!

secondly, it doesn't look as good as phones coming from Nokia, SE, Motorola or even Siemens. well if you like a designer phone, get a louis vutton nokia 7200 or the new motorola v3i D&G (Dolce & Gabbana) phone.

thirdly, It have no wireless functions, nor does it have touch screen or can't even read PDF or Word Documents correctly. Doesn't have voice recognition, mp3 player...for all those functions you can get a phone that does all that for only $1000 ...

So if you are buying this phone, and selling for that price..make it a better quality, better functions, or some better design that tells people straight away, that this phone worth every penny!

i think its a good phone if u can afford it i mean it looks nice and it has an amazing concierge service to make your life easier but if u dont really live that lifestyle of needing reservatios made for very prestigouse places then forget it

I think the Virtu looks nice, however it certainly is not optimized for North America, as it is missing the 850 band. I myself would expect more from a $5000 phone.

its a rip off and a piece of jewellery which is junk for males i got 1 and am cursing myself for that buy..go for lg prada or 8800 instead

This is dumb. Yes I can Afford it. No i would not buy it. It might as be hollow. The difference between the cheaper nokia vs. vertu and camry vs. ferrari debate is that the ferrari actually gives u more and better features, craftsmanshi AND performance whereas the vertu is just craftmanship. Think.

hey guys all of u who r showing off with ur cars i wanna tell u smthng i am in skool and they drop me 2 skool in a slr and pick me up in a maybach so all of u be quite but i have a nokia 6310i a phone is only 2 recive calls and messages it is a neccesiti not a luxury but if you want to talk abt this phone i bought it only because the german world cup i ordered tickits to see all the matchs of saudi arabia since i am from there it is a phone for show offers and just because you have money you dont have to be a show offer so even u have a space shuttle buying a vertu is something difficult

I drive a Toyota Camry & not Bugattis, Ferraris, Bentleys, etc like some of the guys here claim but I happenned to own a Vertu Signature which I bought used (& cheap) from an auction site & I also own a Rolex watch & a Mont Blanc pen. Vertu phones are for people who understand things like these. Rolex watches cannot do as much tricks as a Casio G-Shock despite being many times dearer. Writing from a Mont Blanc pen is only as good as your handwriting. But these are the things that you decorate yourself with. People who worship built-in cameras & whine over pixel count shouldn't even be looking at Vertus. By the way, genuinely rich people do not to brag here.

hey i drive a bentley continental gt buying a vertu is not a big thing for me , but whai i reckon is vertu is rip off i keep nokia 8800

Everyone keeps yapping how they hate or love this forasken Vertu. I love this mobile gadget, because I have it as one of my mobile collection fetish! However the fact maybe, this phone suck donkeyballs. I just use it to show off that I am talking to someone at club so a girl can notice my impotance, but it does no good to me. If you drive a Mercedes or Bentley buy it to increase your penile size, but If you drive Hyundai or an Opel, please buy something that's not more than your automobile sticker price..... I am using this phone to poke at females so far my luck is not doing so well in that department
