This isn't that expensive. Didn't even put a hole in my wallet. You can only knock it if you have it. My mum has a Vertu phone with diamonds! No joke either! I wanted mine with diamonds but my dad said I was too young :'(

I hope you all know that Vertu is a subsidiary of Nokia itself. Vertu is the luxury line of Nokia and had sales of 1.3$ in 2006. It is expected to rise to $2 billion for 2008.
So, Nokia is the KING of MOBILE PHONES.

just got one. don't wanna brag, just wanna share the news with other vertu fans. so, far i'm loving it. very few people have it here in our country, so it's areal status symbol. now i when i drive my bmw convertible with the top down and i get a call, people stare. heck, i don't mind the attention, maybe they're just wondering what sort of phone i'm using since i live in a nokia-minded country.

M-O-N-E-Y. This phone is not about features, it's about style and function. People, please stop complaining about the lack or features blah blah blah. Its for people with money. This phone symbolizes that they are rich, it's for millionares, people like Bill Gates. Think about it, if someone has enough money to buy this phone, they'll probably have enough to own 50 other phones to use as their camera, mp3, radio etc. and maybe even a servant to dial for them...

just out of curiousity....
What's the price on the phone? I know I can't afford it, but it is interesting to know exactly how much a phone could cost.
The design is great by the way....

The phone is not about the price, is about the status. Its user friendly if you don't need all the extra functions of the phone. I have one and love it!!! :)
