I have watched reviews about samsung galaxy j7 prime..yeah it is a good performer when it comes to everyday task and camera performance is commendable..but it is not recommended for heavy users..it is questionable to that vivo v5 plus is priced high..but I think in the performance category..it does the job whether its moderate or heavy use..it will do a job well done..it will not be the best but it will provide an all around performance..so to sum it up..vivo is still a good phone..the only con is the price tag..every phone has their own flaws..regardless if its high end or entry level..
Bright, 29 Jan 2017you are wrong bro. the vivo v5plus cost to 27900 in India.very waste phone for that the price.... moreIn my view none of the budget & midrange Samsung are good for its price. All of them skimp on vital sensors. Are there any good phone from Samsung that can rival Vivo V3Max at similar price point? I think not.

SECONDLY, V5Plus may come with Marshmallow, but you will be hard pressed to find any additional features in V5Plus over V3Max. These Chinese ROMs are very consistent UIs and I have been using many Vivo phones like X5Max, X5Pro, XShot, X3s, V1, Y27L & V3Max for last three years. To put it straight in your face, Vivo does shameless copy of Apple iOS you find on Apple iPhones.
THIRDLY, Virtual Reality(VR) is useless as of now due to very limited content availability. V5Plus does not support inherent technologies like Lenovo TheaterMax which you find in almost all Lenovo phones like Vibe X3 and Vibe P2 for example. You can use VR glasses with Vibe X3 and it truly provides a great cinematic experience with TheaterMax + Dolby Atmos audio. I own a Vibe X3 too, so I know what I am taking about.
In the end, V5Plus even after discounts @ INR 24K is a NO GO from me. Its place is with Lenovo Vibe P2 with identical specs @ INR 18K. And with Vivo V3Max available at a lucrative price of INR 19K, it is a no brainier that V3Max is STILL the champ. :)

Vipul Bariya, 28 Jan 2017But @29999 OnePlus 3T also doesn't have a memory card support in the 64gb version ??? Also OnePlus has far better main camera.
Vipul Bariya, 28 Jan 2017But @29999 OnePlus 3T also doesn't have a memory card support in the 64gb version ??? But OnePlus has the most powerful processor, Snapdragon 820 with 6 gb RAM. Plus a more refined stock Android experience with timely updates.
When you think that a Blackview R7 is a quarter of the price then you realise how expensive Vivos are......?.?.

Its predecessor Vivo V3Max was launched at the same price, and then nobody bought it and Vivo was forced to reduce its price to INR 20k. :)
Same fate is going to happen to V5Plus. Within few months you will find the price tumble down below INR 20k. The market is so competitive now in India. Still I will not buy this phone for lack of memory expansion.
