Thinking about buying VK2020. Does anyone know, does VK2020 has functionality to send sms to multiple recipients or to a group of contacts in the address book?

I had exactly the same problem for the messages, can't read the sent items as well as the inbox after the first reading...
This happened to me after one and a half month using it (bought in 01May06) Well, no worries of that, just sent it back to the retailer as it's under warrantee.
Now it work fine, just hope the same matter wouldn't happen again.

Hi all,
I don't have a vk 2020 but a 2010. I am very satisfy with it except one thing. I have sms issue when trying to send long sms. It doesn't work and I have to restart the phone. i also had this problem with my old vk2000. I saw that someone of you said that a soft upgrade was available for vk2020 to solve that issue ? Do you know where i can find it ? And is it also available for vk2010 ?

Hi I just got my VK2020..so fare I like it!!
only www.VKmobile.com is down so i can't get any suport.. dase any one know a Forum that could help me!!
Or mybe any one heare knows the alarm dose not play a sound i have configured it to vibr+sound and tryed all the other onece as well vibra works but that is it! email me thanks max

Stdby time is not acceptable. I have the VK2020 for 3 months now. I have 3 days stdby without calling. When I make a few calls, this immediately drops to 1-2 days.
It gets really hot when calling.
Reception is below average.
Not recommended.

U can push the (-) volume button beside phone for little longer when phone rings
And the phone goes for silent

Hi I'm planing to buy a VK2020 and all your opinion's are very helpfull.
But I still have some questions:
1.dose the email work well? and can I syc. my outlook to it?
2.dose anyone know if the software kann be edited like some Nokia's or at least updated at home?

I bought my vk2020 3 weeks ago ... the software seems to be a bit buggy ... i sent it in for repair and they reinstalled/upgraded the software and returned my phone within a week.
everything works fine now :)
Happy with the all the features other than the sms ... when you type your sms, if you press on the back or hang up button, it will go back to the previous menu or the main screen and your sms is gone!!! ... after 3 weeks, at times i still have to retype some sms as i pressed on either the back or hang up button :(

guess the phone software is still buggy. as for heavy users, it is advisable to get the additional battery pack that comes with an external charger. it doubles up as battery case as well. i managed to bargain for a free extra battery & charger pack when purchased it in cheras and it's useful for low battery incidents

To all Vk2020 user,
SMS problem such as unable send long message or unable read message in outbox, there is new software that can rectify the fault.
Save name unable appear on screen is due to different operator setting. Like phone purchase from Malaysia, it will set according to Malaysia.
All MP3 files can only be view if the file is save inside 'MUSIC' folder. After transfer file into 'MUSIC' folder it will automatically generate playlist inside MP3 Playlist

andy, i have been using the phone for nearly 3 months now. have exactly the same problems. suddenly the outbox messages do not appear & can only send 1-part sms. anything more & it hangs. not only that...keypad "paint" is coming out as i m a heavy sms user. looks awful now. planning 2 change phone already. sigh
