in USA you need to switch the band: menu/calls/network services/select band/....have fun

Thanks for the help acuratls, I did that and the files seemed to transfer because the phone memory is filling up but the mp3's are not showing up under music or sounds and I tried to store them there. Any more hints? Thaks again

To transfer MP3 you have to change setting from PC Sync to Mass Storage Device. Menu|5 Settings|6 PC Connection| Mass storage device

I live in thte USA and wanted to kow if anyone has one here and knows how to make it work with cingulars internet
? I also can not seem to get it to sync to add mp3's can anyone help? Thanks

Alex,
I don't know how you would change the language from korean to english. My VK2020 only has 1)english 2)chinese (simplified) 3)chinese (traditional) 4)Malay.

The language option is Menu|5Settings|3Phone Setting|2Language

The best phone I ever have. What do you need more from phone. Never needed camera on phone when its fish eyed. Only thing it would be nice to have is extra memory card that this phone can be used as a mp3 pleyer.

I try to answer base on my experience :

1. My Standby time around 2 - 3 days, without conversation.
2. I just set the someone contact with name, picture, ringtone dan number and when he is calling the display will show : name and picture (no number) with his assigned ringtone. No other setting need to be done. Have you done that procedure? if done, it should be wrong with the software.

I bought vk2020 a month ago and use it with Cingular in the US. So far, great phone, no problems. Got this instead of sliver because vk2020 is thinner, but also much shorter and lighter weight. It also ended up being cheaper. I would definately buy this phone again if I needed to.

need helps please:
1)whenever people calls, the screen says unnamed and not the person name. How can I get the phone to recognise the no and display the name of the caller.
2) The volume sound very weak, difficult to hear the other party outdoor/
Other than that, I think the phone is good.

I Just got my 2020 today, and I am satisfied with sound of ringtone and call, call receiving, design, bluetooth, good display. Of course not for battery, since it is small battery. I can also assign different MP3 ringtone and picture to each contact (no need assign them to a group). But I need help from you guys, since I can not syncronize the phone because it will always display : "The phone is not connected".

Yes, U can set caller ringtone from MP3. And also for Group ringtone. But for SMS tone, it had been preset and cannot be change.

Hi guys,

Could we assign MP3 ringtone :

1. to different contact with different ringtone; and
2. as SMS ringtone? or SMS ringtone is already set by default like Samsung ?

Hi all,

just got my VK2020 from wapzon too but however I encountered some problems and hope seniors out there can help me. My SIM Nos. were copied to the phone memory but whenever people calls, the screen says unnamed and not the person name. How can I get the phone to recognise the no and display the name of the caller. Other than that, I think the phone is great.
