Great phone, I have had it for a couple of months now and as a phone its fine, but.
Has anyone been able to use the VK software with either a cable or Bluetooth and if so where did you get the cable from?
Be very careful with what you have sent to you via bluetooth, as I have a couple of vid files that the phone received but as they were of a different format, the phone does not see them yet they are now stuck in the memory.

Message for Mark re download using a dongle. Firstly go into my services and click on properties, then file transfer and select a folder that you wish to share i.e. your music folder then click apply. To transfer MP3s to your mobile right click on the bluetooth push service button and select send objects then select the track you wish to download . Cheers

Nice looking phone and also has some great features. Just a shame you can't play video clips only the one's you made. Also why does the video camera have no sound.

Great phone. If only I could get the USB cable and software to work. The S/W only seems to look on COM ports. Has anyone got it to work?

Good little phone, great value for money, I couldnt get it to work properly with a bluetooth dongle though,Only allows push object, not file transfer so to get around that I bought a 1Gb transflash micro sd card and used my digital camera as a removable hard drive to transfer loads of mp3 tracks onto it. It seems like the mp3 playlist will only allow 195 tracks on it though.

I got this phone for my wife's birthday and it is a terrific phone. The only problem is my wife can not download her old time classics, as there is no cable to download the songs. I need this cable now as my wife is having nigtmares over this extrodoniary situation.

Um well not as good as I had thought.Good phone but let down by only supporing mjp video format which means any video file u receive cant be veiwed or saved unless its mjp.so nope it dont support 3gp or any others And theres no chance of sending ur own vids from ur video cam to others cause no phones will accept it.Oh yeah and it records vids with no sound which is pointless eh?Camera is good enough and have had no probs puttin mp3s on to it via bluetooth from pc.dosnt have screensavers and message tones cant be changed to songs or sounds so ur stuck wiv the ones you got on it.

just got this phone yesterday, great lil phone, just one or two niggly little things, like the volume control when talking to someone, i've turned up as high as it will go, & its still not very loud, & having to have it open when u've dialled a number otherwise you get disconnected, but i suppose for nearly £72 its a good lil phone for the money.

VK4000, great little phone with lots of features. My phone only has 32MB of on-board memory and this has been confirmed by Virgin "We're pleased to confirm for you that your VK 4000 memory has a standard 32 megabyte capacity, and we've been informed that this is expandable." so 1GB Transflash here I come. VK PC Sync program is well worth the download from the VK site, (82MB!!). It is a Movie, Music and Image editor as well as PC Sync Program. VK4000 Bluetooth seems to only have handfree/Headset and object push so PC sync and USB drive, looks to only work via a sync cable. If you have someone send a music/video file, make sure it is compatible first, I was sent a 3gp file that the phone has not listed in any of the gallery item, thus I am now unable to delete it, but is in the "other" section of memory used, so its in there somewhere.
