Hiya i got this phone about a month ago, the pink VK530 and its been playing up. It turns off and re starts on its own and right now i have 2 new messages in my in box but when i click on it, it re starts itself and wont let me read them? its a shame coz i luv the look of the of the phone and its easy to use but its bit crappy when it dont work propperly :o( gutted.

Phone very cute and love the colour display however the short battery is a real pain and the quality of the sound is pants - have left messages on voicemail and apparently they are totally non-understandable - would take it back if I could.......Any ideas where I can get a car charger ?

hi have the lilac camera vk530.does anyone no how to keep he external screen always lite up???also i had mine unlock but now have a o2 uk logo any ideas to get rid of that

I luff pink 2 pieces. But this phone has been so close to puttin me off the colour for life ( not really but still). First off, it doesn't let em send pictures, recieves pictures or anything like that, rang up vodafone to get my gprs activated more than once, waste of credit. I gave up with the sending/recieveing pics. First day I got it it'd randomly say 'Error' when I went to look in my messages! GRR! then after about a month, ma keypad lights were on but ma screen was off + wouldnt switch on, so i took it 2 get fixed was supposed to take a few days (took 10!) had it back for a week and now every time i go to read a message my phone switches off. I kno evry1s buyin it cause it looks cute and i agree its one of the prettiest fones ive seen, but if u want a phone thats goin 2 work, dont get it :o) if u do, I hope ur luckyer than me and most of the people who have commented. xx

heya,
i want to get the fone (VK 530) this wednesday, as its pay day!!!!
I have wanted it for ages now, but all your reviews are so negative, is it really that bad?
is it not worth getting?

yea u can get ringtones for it, u have to go on the vadafone website as it is only that netwrk!not too sure how do get into it exactly but it shuld b in there if ya just mess abt! hope i helpd ya's

I got the vk530 lilac fone and luved it soooo much. So much in fact that it broke my heart when only after 4days I had to send it in for a 10day repair service!!!!!I'm getting it back tomoro and hopefully it will no longer randomly switch off and it will finally let me into my inbox all the time instead of when the phone feels like it!!! To anybody that didnt have any problems with ur fone im so jealous. I was really peeved when it had to be repaired and I have 5 friends who have since bought it and had the same problem :( So to any1 who is going to buy this phone-I hope u get a good one!There great when they work but increadably frustrating when they dont!!!

I loooovvvee this phone, apart from the battery life. I have had this phone for just over a week and had to charge near enough every day. S'pposed to have 200hours standby time, obviously time flies....DOES THE BATTERY LIFE GET ANY BETTER !!!!!!!!!!

my parents are thinking of getting it for my 11th birthday and i so want it but im worried about getting it and its rubbish please help me i really want it but if u cant download ringtones are the camara is rubbish are the text measseges im just going to get the samsung E600. i really want the vk530 brcause it is ace and cute and girlie please help me

i got dis fone on da 31st of march 4 my b day. so far i avnt ad any problems wiv it. i av only had it 4 2 days but fingers crossed. :$ i cnt believe all u ppl. (well most ppl)is a fone for f*** sake. its not exactly the most technological fone is it. i suppose its a problem if u cnt read ur messages but u shudnt expect such high quality frm da camera. hardly any fones av high quality camera. well i fink da fone is adorable and avnt ad any problems so far. da battery went rather quick but ill b prepared nxt tym.

hi guys!!!

i got my new vk530 about a month ago and i havent had any problems! apart from the battery doesn't last very long.

and does anybody know how to get the external display to stay on? cos it just turns off in a cupil of seconds. which is really annoying

Jade - give it time. You will have problems. These are the worse phones on the market. More problems than any other phone out there. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED....Sorry girls

I love my pink phone........... it is soooo pretty, no really it is. Anyway on a more serious note I am looking forward to a long and fruitful life with my new phone. I think that it is a really good buy and have not had any problems with it (only bought it today)yet. I would like to know how you extract a ring tone from a message to use as a ring tone. If anyone can help that would be great. Cheers
