Hey pep's, well i got me pink vk530 bout 2 wks ago the colour keeps messin and i cannot open picture messages or ringtones i also cannot accses the internet and the charge dosent even last for 1 day. I got it chipped so it can take any sim card and i dont wanna take it back becoze i lose the money for that aswell. send me an email if u got any advise. thanx xxx

I brought the phone today, before i seen all these messages. I hope that i'm not going to get these problems :-( I have one question though that i can't seem to find anywhere, does anyone know how to keep the outer screen display on constantly as its so annoying that it goes blank after a few seconds.

Shirl, vodafone informed me that no ringtones are available for download and if you got charged by vodafone live for the download to phone customer service for a refund, also the lead to doenload from pc is unavailable, they are made by samsung(vk is their new trade name)

Had this phone for a week now, and although am having to charge it every day have had no other problems with it (touch wood!) Only thing is does anyone know why it wouldnt download a ringtone that i ordered from the Vodafone website? i got the texts through fine and clicked to connect when prompted but alas no new tone :( any help or advise appreciated

got the phone bout a month ago have had to change it four times as it turns itself off and when i try to write a txt it comes up with an error message.

i just got this phone 2day, in pink, and i love it... ive always had a nokia and i think, although different, its a really ace phone.

im really glad i read these messages coz i woz gonna by the vk 530 but now im not coz it sounds rubbish. can anyone giv me any suggestions 4 a new fone coz i really need 1?

I wish I had read these messages before I got this phone.I admit it is cute looking but just doesn't preform properly, the camera is not brilliant but does the job,no new ringtones available to download(has anyone be able to get hold of the lead to be able to download from PC?)I had the problem of it switching of on its own and the battery not lasting more than a day so took it back and now on my second phone, and am having all the above faults. I am very disapointed, low grade product 4/10

I just got the pink one on Saturday, and I must say that i'm happy, it takes a bit of getting used to, but change isn't always a bad thing. The camera is fine for a non pro, such as myself and the ringtones area big improvement. The games are the only complex thing , unclear instructions and tacky sound.90/100

got the phone on weds and am having problem writing texts. only happened 3 or 4 times but very annoying. as im writing all of a sudden the more i type it deletes what ive already wrote. and then on 2 occasions the screen freezes and you cant do anything. turning the phone off for a few mins then it seems to be ok again. it also only seems to do this when the battery is running low so that might be why.
the battery is very short apparantly you get 4hours talk time and 8 hours standby which is pants
other than that i love the phone

when i gt it 4 xmas i really likd but u cant recieve photo or sounds u cnt get into ur messages aftr a while and it hasent gt infared or bluetooth the only thing u pay for is that its pink!

just to let you know, I got this phone over a week ago and have had to charge it 5 times already! Just in the process of sending it back. I've always had Nokia phones and thought i would try this one as it looks so sweet. It really needs updating!!!

I hae a Vk530 and had trouble with the inbox - if your phone turns itself off when you try and read a text message you have received, it is apparantely a known fault. Call 19086 from your phone and they will talk you through the steps to fix this. alternatively you can press *#27# (hold down the hash key until is says WAIT - then release the hash key. this will clear the fault. YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR TEXT MESSAGES AND PICTURE MESSAGES ETC. So only do this if cannot get to txt messages - a real pain. love the phone tho!

hi, i just got this phone today and i have had no problems at all i think the phone is excellent for the money and it looks wicked, i have also found it very easy to use it is very different to my last phone which was a nokia 8310 if i can answer any of your questions i will try

I have had the the vk530 since christmas and I have had no problems at all with the phone, it is so cute would have been devastated if I had. If you are wanna buy it go for it as it is one of coolest phones around (well I think so an

Well i saw so many bad reviews about this phone that i thought i ought to post a good one! i honestly havnt had any problems but then i wasnt expecting high standards from it! yes the battery life is low but at the end of the day you are paying for a pink, specialised girly phone, not a top of the range technical wizard! if like me you are after a bit of fun and a cute girly phone that can make calls and text then go for it! if you are wanting a phone thats a lot more high tech try a different one!
