i havent had any problems so far with this phone (touch wood)
but what i can say is that it a nice pretty phone but very SIMPLE, doesnt have many features but its not bad.
my brother bought a phone for £109.00 and he has been ripping into me cos i paid£129.00 for mine and he gets a lot more for his money, like video rec and dowloads anything. SO ok he gets more for his money but what i say is that thE VK530 is nice and feminine and worth the money.
I ONLY NEED A PHONE FOR A TEXTING AND A QUICK CALL, NOT A PLAY GAME SO ITS IDEAL FOR ME, BUT IF U WANT A GADGET TO SHOW OFF TO YOUR MATES WITH THIS WOULDNT BE THE PHONE FOR YOU

i bort my pink vk530 2day cuz im obsessed wiv tha color pink i swear dwn n even if it messes up il js get a new 1 i luv tha color so much i dnt care but if any1 knows if u can change the color of tha text frm blue to pink let me kno i dno if its possible but if it is i wud appretiacte it sum1 cuz inform me how

I got a lilac VK530 a few weeks ago, and I too have been having these problems.
The battery runs down VERY fast, especially if you are texting and using the camera.
The handset does turn itself off for no apparently reason, and no, you cant see who a text is from until you go out into the inbox and have a look.
Sometimes the colours all go funny, and the only way to sort this out is to turn the fone off and on again. At other times the text inbox/sentmessages/drafts cant be accessed, "ERROR" is displayed. This, too, requires you to turn the fone off and on again to fix.
Overall I am not impressed. Very cute fone, small and light too, and a few nice little features, but they seem to have quite a few problems with them.
I wish I hadn't bought this fone.

I got my vk30 for last christmas and it had been great but at the moment im getting trouble with the address book wen i write a message and i wont to send it i have to go through all off mu contacts which is about 400 i dont no if its my phone or is it the phone it self other than that i love it sssoooo much

Hi i got a pink vk530 on valentines day and so far it had been nothing but great! i love everything about it...there was a batch of faulty phones so you probably got those...i have no complaints with my phone whatsoever i LOVE it!!!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS FONE!
I bought this fone, cos it was pink and cute, but seriousley, it is not worth it for all the trouble its worth! Screen switchs off, screensaver turns into a fuzz if you dare to switch the fone off, battery lasts 10-12 hours, if that, and when I try to get into the inbox the whole fone switchs off again!!!!!!
You cannot go onto next letter when texting, you do not know who your text is from unless you go back and check, and pictures that I took on the camera part and saved, disapeer and then come back again days later!
I stuck with this all for a while as the fone was so cute and pink!!! But it just got silly. Taking it through VK helpline was a joke, the operators do not speak english, as it is an Asian company and do not even seem to know how to spell "Mobile", let alone fix one. The company does not even have a website!!!
Vodafone shop was stupidly unhelpful too, saying they cannot replace it or give refund, but only send it off for repair which takes a month, even though it was faulty when I got it!!!!!!!! They have given me a terrible tempory fone and they are rude when I call and ask for an update on the repair. This is apparently due to a "Backlog" -(Not my problem though!)
The point is though that a "BRAND NEW" fone should not be in repair! It should work perfectly from the day you buy it. GRRRR! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS FONE PEOPLE!!!! xxxx

i got the lilac one a few weeks ago but sometimes it turns itself off, and when i read my messages sometimes it comes up with 'error'! so i have to turn it off and back on again!

The phone is pretty but i have problems with the msg it deletes them as i write um and have to turn it off and back on again! I had to return it as i can not read my msg without it turning off it is rubbish!

im not really impressed...i like the colour but thats it. When you recieve a text it doesnt say who its off, until you come out of text and look in inbox list.
also to charge you have to remove a very small piece of rubber to plug in charger....what are you supposed to do with such a small component, besides lose it....dont buy one!

i love my phone, had it about 3 weeks, it does delete the txt every now and then but who has ever bought a phone that didnt have problems, it doesnt stop me using it and all i have to do is turn it off then back on.

The camera looks great but you cannot download ringtones and the battery runs out too quick - 12 hours. Are other people having this problem?

I got a lilac vk 530 for christmas and ive been having troubles with it for ages the other day the screen went totally blank and nothing comes up on it. plus half way through texts it starts getting rid of what your writing also the phone turns itself off when i have full battery. DON'T BUY ONE

I got one of these for Christmas - straight away I found that it wouldn't hold numbers in the phone. Took it back to the shop - they said they'd had about 200 with this fault, but as they didn't know which ones they had sent them out anyhow!They put it right while I waited. A week later I realised that it was going flat every other day, even though it was hardly being used. It was away for 2 weeks for a "software upgrade". At the time of writing it is still as bad, and Vodaphone are letting me replace it with a different phone.
It's a lovely looking phone, cute and easy to use - but no good if it keeps having problems
