> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-03-05 00:39 from in%aActually no it doesn't. It's 28 days over the counter exchange. It has a year warranty for it to get fixed if there is any issues with the phone, but that's it.
The only thing this phone has going for it is the decent camera and the 3G connection. If you're looking for something sturdy and long lasting, this would definately NOT be it. True the design makes it an attractive phone - then again looks can be deceiving. If anything consumers, be more concerned with what the phone can do, not what it looks like.

I would not reccomend this phone. I have had it for 4 months and it loses reception at the drop of a hat even if it has been working perfectly a minute before. I have other family members on vodafone who do not have this problem, so i believe it is something to do with the phone

Just purchased this phone today and tried it out as there was some battery life on it. Purchased for AUD$199.00 and has just been returned to the store! That's right i took it back ALREADY.
Usually use to my Nokia 6300 so decided to give this a go as it looked great and I am a Vodafone customer. Inside the 830i is very plasticy (ye i know it it plastic) and feels cheap, looks expensive because of the design, it's nice and sleek!
The slider does slide from side to side when it is up, very delicate and appears like it wont last very long.
Nice back lights - blue on the keys and no idea why the music player key is on the bottom left when really the 'call' button should be there, not in the middle. My friend called me on it and the sound quality isn't the best....main reason why i returned it.
You have to press the keys quite hard for it to actually work. Navigator key hasn't been designed very well. The phone is a very light phone. Wouldn't recommend to anyone if your looking to already compare to your existing Nokia or Samsung etc...or to upgrade. There's just no comparison to this chinese vodafone branded phone!
My Nokia 6300 is faulty so I think I will be buying the same one - mind you for LESS money. Paid $199 for this 830i and the Nokia 6300 is available for $159!
So much for the "you get what u pay for" Just not happy with this one. Will never try "vodafone" branded phones again.
If you're looking for a phone and you dont really care what you use, go for it.... then again there is cheaper available and better quality FOR SURE!!!!!
Also doesn't come with a memory card. Just not happy.....

After buying a new phone every 3 months, and spending countless amounts of money on high tech Nokias and Samsungs, i decided that was it... NO MORE!!
I have sent my 4 months old Samsung to repair 3 times. I should have known it was trouble when i first bought the phone and it didnt even turn on... so they swapped it for a brand new one... but still endless problems. Ive had this for a month, and there is no problems with it. I have installed games, themes, pictures and it has given the rest a rung for its money. I think its wonderful and it looks good.
