1st step:
partition a SD card with 1GB for apps in FAT32
Use Hirens boot CD with Windows apps
2nd step:
apply: z4root (not permanent) + Link2SD
3rd step:
Configure Link2SD to install all apps in SD card and transfer apps already installed to SD Card
Result:
- 60MB permanent free in RAM.
- Lots of apps already installed and lots of space in SD card.

I have the phone . Very good value for money. Has a good 5MP camera. screen not so good. No video calling. Other functions GPS, WIFI, Memory exceed expectations for a cheaper phone. No upgrade available to android 2.2 as of now. you can use "Link2SD " to move all your apps to SD card so can install unlimited apps. So why worry about 2.2. any problems email me on lanka007us@yahoo.com
