The white iPhone 4 is now available both online and in stores and in 28 countries stretching across several continents. We were eager to gather some of the first photos and videos of the new device. Well, technically, it's only the color that's new but it took Apple so long to perfect, that it must be something worth seeing.
Priced the same as the black variety, the Great White, as it's lovingly known up on Twitter, has managed to generate some sizable amount of hype, almost a year after the black one launched.
We're yet to see if customers will be fully satisfied with it and if there will be issues with it like signal drops, the camera flash or the proximity sensor, which all have been rumored to be the reason for the delay of the development at one point or another.
Fellow online journalists have already got their hands on the white iPhone 4 and so far reported nothing out of the ordinary (you know, apart from the color).
Reportedly, the white color of phone seems really bright and photos hardly do it any justice. Nevertheless, here are some photos of the device, courtesy of BGR.com.
We wonder if this late launch of the white version is not another proof that the iPhone 5 will be pushed back to an autumn release. Otherwise, in June the iPhone 5 would make the white version of the iPhone 4 obsolete before it gets to speed.
The guys over at the Italian iSpazio.net have shot their unboxing experience on video.
Perfect gadget to own......
Apple has no ideas. They are stalling but i like the fact it gives people more value to their phones still untill they become nothing much.
personally i think it may sell well. but now people are focused on Iphone 5 so is a stop gap until then. nice looking thought. that gorilla glass is naff. more a chimpanzee glass. as it breaks easily..
