This phone is a real state of the art. For instance I was using it via my bluetooth car kit when my girlfriend picked up the handset and dialed her mom using the other side… and it was only after few minutes of conversation that we both realized that we were using the same handset –yet two different lines at the same time!!
To the below post, I have a PDF manual on the CD that I can email you; however if you need to know more on the unit I will be more than happy to tell you

TrueGSM.com won't put the manual in PDF format for download prior to my purchase. That's not fair, I want to read and know the mobile before making a purchase decision. Does anybody here could provide a link to the manual?

Thank you for your response, I have done that I select come port, then go to setting, it even shows that the phone is connected , I can upload songs pic etc to the phone but when I click on the sync button nothing happens so I have to upload my phone contacts manually, I even tried it with new software from their web site still didn't work.

to Z: i finally managed to sync. though i had to wait for a response from the company. FYI, once you plug in the USB, select COM PORT on the phone and then when you go to PC SUITE, go to SETTINGS and select the same com port you see as connected in your windows system devices. then you will see your phone as connected and you can read/write from the phone.
However this is very premitive as compared to either a SONYERIC or NOKIA where you can sync direct from OUTLOOK from contacts to your diary.

if its a fantastic phone, i am assuming that you have used this phone inside out. Please tell me how I can select an MP3 tune from my phone which i have already saved to be used for a particular contact. Not the ring tones which are already preset, but the MP3 tunes that I have saved on the mem card.

I have tried many dual Sim phones and I can tell you that's the most complete dual phone I've used. It can receive & send calls and sms at the same time. You can even talk to two people calling on different SIMs at the same time.
The Samsung will require a restart every time you switch your primary Sim & only the SIM set as primary can make calls!

Can any one let me know is this phone is really dual sim ? means two line from two different service providers are active? call receiving , sms from two diff services providers..?
samaung d88 has to restart once switching from one sim to another..is that true..?

when i connect the USB i have to choose: MASS STORAGE, COMPORT OR WEBCAM from the phone. what do i choose so that PC SUITE can recognise and see my phone as connected, because I cant syn at all and its a severe problem coz i cant send all my contact to the fon

to unknown:thank u, i have managed to register.i also had 2 IMEI numbers but the web page had a problem.anyway i have a new problem now - i cant sync anything from PC SUITE, my phone always shows as disconnected on the bottom right. what can i do?i have also downloaded the latest PC SUITE

I'm not sure we have the same box, however on mine I had two IMEI numbers and a serial number and if I remember well, I used the IMEI number instead of the serial number to register.

It's thanks to Samsung F300 that Dual faced phones are such a hit nowadays.

How do you know that the ‘Ultra Edition Dual SIM’ will come soon, do you work for Samsung? Can you give us a date of release?

I am having a serious problem registering my fon on the WND website. I put all the details, but there is no space on the form to put in the IMEI no. and i can't proceed because it keeps saying invalid IMEI no. I had also emailed WND support on Friday but no feedback yet.
I cant seem to sync my fon using the PC SUITE,it cant see the fon at all. I can use all other features. When i connect to the USB i have to choose an option from the fon if u want to use flash drive, modem or web cam. If i cant sync my fon i am stuck as all my contacts are in my address book on my comp. PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

this phone is expensive.. better to buy Samsung SGH-D880. WND, what is this company, Where did it came from? Sooner Im sure this will be close because of Samsung.. Just wait for the Ultra Edition of Dual Sim of Samsung... soon it will come in the market...

I bought mine from truegsm & was delivered few days later but when I placed an order for a 2nd unit the shipment got delayed; however, today I received an email saying that my new unit will ship the day after tomorrow. The handset is worth waiting 4
