I have had this phone for 8 or 9 years, original battery functions well, but the joystick broke after 8 years use. Therefore I want to buy another one, with a working joystick.

Rajeev,
If you want a manual for this phone you need to search to the annals of history, which dates back to the Mesozoic era.
This phone was popular among the Pterodactyls and the Brontosaurus. T-Rex crushed it though, which caused it to be extinct around 5 Million Years ago.

I had and used this phone for 4 years and recently it has started to give me problems, such as, asa soon as I ON it the screen goes blank, nothing could be seen.

We have one Alcatel 511 in house and still working perfectly...almost 5 years, still using original battery. Small, lightweight and most important, durable phone which passed test of time.

This is my 1st phone ever!!! had it for 3 months before my brother took it from me. the phone is still functionally but certain keys are not working. then, i lost the charger. now its just lying dormant waiting for the end. ive moved on to 6100 and now D600.

Bad resale value and reliability. The software itself is abig nuisance for me. The good thing is its lightweight and looks pretty unique. But that's it
