Hi,
thanks for the info on switching off that annoying 'plop' as it's opened up!
My question is so basic it should /never/ need to be asked...
how do I make a call?
I open it up, key in the number, press OK and my only option are to 'save' to the phone or to the SIM. There's no 'dial' option.
So far I've only ever managed to call someone who's called me first and their number's in the received call list so I can return the call.
But I've no idea how to start a new call.
It's a cheap phone and I've no complaints, as I wanted a very basic phone, no 'radio' no 'music', no 'camera'. We get what we pay for, but I'd be really upset if I'd paid more than a few pounds for this...not impressive at all!
Thanks
Peter

Hi Guys,
Orange only charged me £9.00 for this phone and that included P&P. Fantastic value for money. As you all say, the instruction sheet that came with it is next to useless, so many thanks to everyone for your informative posts. You helped me to sort things out.

thanks anoymous! had a look and found it!
go to "Settings" - then "Ringtones" - then go into options for the "General" settings - then "Edit" - then press the left side of the round button so u move along 8 pages and you should come to "Flip Beep" settings - and there it is!!
Thanks again, I was thinking about throwing it out the window as the bleeping was driving me nuts!
