Well, I think the main drawback of this phone is it's battery life.. It only lasts one day.

> In reply to domtw @ 2010-01-12 07:14 from vDxBSorry I forgot, as I had the English version from Jul til Oct last year.

Do like to remind you, without any special software, the English version "does not / cannot" display Chinese website properly.

WM 6.1 is one of the silliest OS I've seen, which does "not" allow one to switch between Chinese and English UI (unlike its own 6.0) at anytime.

Initally I got the Chinese version, but I could hardly understand the OS in Chinese. So once the English version came out last Jul, I had Moto CS in HK to upgrade back to English, then I encountered the problem above.

I do recall roughly even the English version supports Chinese character input.

Hello,
I would like to know if is possible to have a chinese-english-chinese dictionary with this phone.
Would I be able to copy and paste either chinese or english from the dictionary to SMS or from SMS to dictionary.
Is it possible to enter either chinese or english (with handwritting or other method) while using the english version of the OS ?

I've had this phone for six months, great PDA...The only problem I have is....there's no way I can send nor receive MMS...maybe it has something to do with windows 6.1...I do not have this problem with my two other phones...If someone could give me a hint....Thanks..

I have it. I love it. At first, people said there was poor sound quality (their end), but I cleaned the little opening for the microphone (it was barely used off eBay) and BAM ...quality is great ...I suppose there was some crud in there (which I didn't see). The fone is awesome, and I chose it for trad off size vs features (specially the triband 3g which gives me 2100gHz when I go to the EU) which not many have. The fone is as thin as my razrV3 and only a little taller ...in landscape mode, it shows web pages fully if you set the correct font size. It is superb !! Back looks flimsy, so I bought extra one from cnn.cn cheap. Got 2 extra batteries and usb/ac chargers and 2 styli and a leather case nice off eBay from HongKong cheap. Got OEM mini-micro USB adapters SKN6252A off eBay cheap and BAM now my old mini usb wires and chargers ALL work with this fone !! Speakerphone is VERY loud and audible ...don't see a need to get a BT car device, just throw it on the console. I even downloaded a FREE app that reads out sms messages when they arrive so you don't hafta fiddle while driving. Great !! Has wifi so my data use on ATT went way down since I use it in the kitchen to read the paper and check mail in the morning over coffee. I love this thing !!

Top 10 Cell Phones PC World

Nov 13, 2009 11:30 am

1. Motorola Droid
Keyboard: Yes
Bottom Line: The first Android 2.0 phone impresses with a strong suite of Web features and a stunning 3.7-inch display, but some users might have trouble with the shallow keyboard.

2. Apple iPhone 3GS
Keyboard: No
Bottom Line: Performance enhancements distinguish the otherwise evolutionary step-up iPhone 3GS from its previous iterations.

3. Motorola Cliq
Bottom Line: The beautifully designed Motorola Cliq is a social butterfly’s dream phone, but others may find the MotoBlur user interface overwhelming.

4. Research in Motion BlackBerry Bold 9700
Bottom Line: The best BlackBerry available, the Bold 9700 packs a multitude of features into a sophisticated, slimmed-down design.

5. T-Mobile myTouch 3G
Keyboard: Yes
Bottom Line: The T-Mobile myTouch 3G is a big improvement from its predecessor, but the physical keyboard is sorely missed.

6. Palm Pre
Form Factor: Candy bar
Bottom Line: The Pre's webOS software is touch-friendly and fun, but the cramped QWERTY keyboard detracts from the phone's usability.

7. Samsung Behold II
Keyboard: Yes
Bottom Line: With a gorgeous AMOLED display and an excellent camera, the pricey Samsung Behold II will appeal to multimedia junkies with deep pockets.

8. Research in Motion BlackBerry Tour 9630
Keyboard: Yes
Bottom Line: The BlackBerry Tour entices with an ergonomic keyboard and gorgeous display, but the omission of Wi-Fi disappoints.

9. HTC Droid Eris
Keyboard: Yes
Bottom Line: If you can live without a hardware keyboard, the HTC Droid Eris is an affordable and feature-packed alternative to the Motorola Droid.

10. HTC Hero
MegaPixels: 5MP
Bottom Line: The HTC Hero marks a giant step in innovation of the Android platform, but it isn't without flaws
