I have been using this phone for perhaps 6 years and its performance has been great so far. This until today when the phone fell from my hands and I find half of the phone's display has blanked out.
Any pointers as to how to revive the display.

its a very good phone, i have used it for more than 4 yrs but it still works pretty fine
i also have a i-phone 4s, if you compare it with this phone i think motorola rocks

actualy it is a good mobile.I am using this for 5 years,but still now i have no comlain against this mobile.In that time it was the mobile having best features with such a low price.Thanks to motorola to lunch this mobile.

this phone is still working for 5 yrs after i changed its microphone with my own hands!!! the mobile had been not used for 1 year after it got washed in the washing machine due negligence by my father and due to which its microphone died......
then i changed its microphone with an other microphone (from a broken videocon mobile) and voila it is working fine....
i visited motorola service center regarding microphone and they said the mobile is dead and not repairable due to water damage.
how wrong they were LOL :)

I turned on the phone today, a screen came up (which has never happened before) saying "Phone Unlock Code:"
I have no idea what that code is but I did try a few possible combinations and none of them worked.
Any suggestions?

This is a fantastic phone. I have been using it since June 2006 and till date I haven't got any problems with this phone. The only problem I faced was with the ear phones. After 3 mths of purchasing this phone there was no voice from one side of the ear phone. I got it replced from the service center free of cost as it was till under warranty and I had the original bill with me. But the replaced earphone also went thru the same problem. I was very much impressed by the stereo quality of this phone but the continously irrepairable earphone kept me away from it for a while. Later one I bought a chin peice earphone and it luckily worked well for 1.5yrs and then again one side not working.
Overall I still love this phone. The battery has not degraded. If I charge it full it goes on for 3 days without charging. I might have dropped this phone 50 times but nothing has happened to it. Very Reiiable. Now because of the new technology developing I wanted to buy an new phone and since I had great expereince with Motorola phone I thougt of buying EX128 anticapting that this product will be on par with what C168 has delevired. But the reviews of EX128 is very negative. Major proble is with the battery life. Its just 4H as comapred to 13H for C168. I will definitely not buy EX128
