@Nuwan, hi sir. i have a question. if you hack your 5530xm, then you do a soft reset, do you have to hack it again to install cracked apps? how about a hard reset? thanks.

Hi Nuwan

Thanks a lot the instructions will try and let you know.There is one more thing...The keypad lock slider which is at the side of the cellphone is little loose.its working but it jerky (rattles) I have check my friends 5800 and found out that the lock slider is stiff.I don't have any friends who own 5530. So I don't know whether it is a design flaw or something.information regarding this is appreciated.

Dear Nuwan,

I have a question Bro.I've experienced copying video to my phone and later found out that when i'm plying the video, the vocal soud and the ovement of the mouth or any movement doesn't match each other.Always the action comes late.But when i play the source file in my laptop, it's fine, normal. I usually put concert videos in my phone anyway.
What do you think is the problem Bro?

I hope animated images means the images which have *.gif extension... Right...?
If you meant them, then Animated images are working perfectly on Nokia 5530 Xpress Music.. (I mean with animations..)
And as to me, they should work fine also with Nokia 5800 Xpress Music as well as in Nokia 5230..

Don't worry friend... Honestly speaking I don't have warranty for my mobile as I didn't buy it from Nokia or a nominated retail seller of Nokia.. (I didn't bother about it either as I knew I'm going to have a genuine deal...)

In your case, I really don't think they will void your warranty just because you installed a software in your mobile... It's a smart phone after all, and if you can't install the software/applications you want it your own smart phone, then why would you pay such a big amount on a mobile...?

HelloOX2 (hacking software) is just a software and it doesn't do any hardware damage to your mobile... Thousands of users out there hack their mobiles and don't have any complains about it... So hopefully you also wouldn't have any complaints...

At last, if they (they means the people who sold the mobile to you) insist you not to hack your mobile (otherwise we'll void your warranty bla bla...) then also you hack the mobile...! Why do I say so...? Because as hacking is just a software installation, you can undo it anytime you want... So nobody will ever know whether your mobile had been hacked or not...

I think I've said what I know... If you're still worrying about warranty... My last suggestion is, then please wait until the warranty expires then do your hacking thing... But then I bet you will blame yourself "why didn't I do this before thinking about a stupid warranty...!!!"

Hi Nuwan,
I have been reading your posts for a while and let me tell you, they are very helpful. I have recently purchased 5530 XM. I want to install few applications (smartmovie/pdf reader etc) which are not free unfortunately. I was glad to read your post regarding hacking the nokia phone, but I am a little scared, if it would damage (or void warranty? )my phone's firmware? Please help.

You can either buy Quickoffice suit for your 5530 or install a cracked version of Quickoffice...

In case of the cracked version, you will have to hack your mobile first.

I have included detailed instructions on 'how to hack your smart Nokia mobile' here in GSMarena... (Please scroll down, and you'll see it...)

After hacking your mobile, visit www.dotsis.com and there you will see cracked copies of Quickoffice... (And a lot of other applications as well...)

Here's the full instruction set in order to hack your mobile... If you find this too complicated, that's because you're new to this... Don't worry... Do everything Just like I'm going to you..

1) Download helloOX2 using below link,

2) go to the website,

Click register in the top right corner.
Once registered log in and then click "apply cer" Enter your phones information including the IMEI No etc and click apply.

3) After 48 hours go to the same web page and click log in then click "my certificate"
Now download the certificate (.cer) and save it as "My Certificate.cer"
(You might have to change the extension to .cer)
Similarly download the key (.key) file and save it as "My Certificate.key" (You might have to change the extension to .key)
Now you have your phones .cer and .key files and you're almost done.

4) Now download below link... (for the Sign tool)

And use above two (My Certificate.cer & My Certificate.key) and the copy of HelloOX2 you've got in order to sign the HelloOX2... (When you open the sign tool, you'll realize what to do..)

5) After clicking on 'sign' then command prompt message will come 'Signed Successfully'. Now you can install HelloOX2 in your mobile without any problem... There will not be any error message this time...

6) During installation it'll ask whether to install 'Rom Patcher' you click 'Yes'. After everything is done open the application Rom patcher in your mobile and apply the two patches there...

Everything is done.. Now your mobile is hacked and it's open to a new wonder world...! (That also means you'll never experience such messages as 'Certificate error, Certificate has been expired' bla bla...)

Please make sure each time you want to install an application, the patches in Rom Patcher all are 'applied' correctly... Better to make them 'Auto' so that they'll be automatically applied even after you restart the mobile... (Because once your phone is restarted it'll be unpatched again..)

I checked the all above download links and all are working perfectly... Let us know whether 'hacking' worked well or not...
