hello! actually i wanted to buy 5730 in the first place but then my boifren found out that the design for this phone is a bit weird and looks like a 'toy' phones. maybe because of it is the expressmusic phone. the 5800 expressmusic is better design than this one. i end up buying E75 which from the first sight its look a bit 'matured' phone to me but still i like thephone very much. Hmm okay.. thanks!

I shall settle for the red one.. and yes the phone will be bought from a reputed dealer only, but still has the "made in China" sticker inside the back cover..

> In reply to spy king @ 2009-11-15 09:58 from vGZd - click to readMy n86 is made in china and no problems but every other nokia has been made in finland or hungary..You must be aware of chinese copies tho by checking hologrammes on batterys and by buying from reputable dealers..I can only find the red colour with no sign of the blue or grey colours being for sale their is just a picture of them and no details..

Hey,

What would be the most suitable colour for this phone
? Grey doesn't seem to be easily available in muscat..

also, One more question.. Does it matter if the phone is made in China vs made in Finland?

Thanks!

9/10 fones with that high score;

HTC hero
HP ipaq214 pda only
HTCtouch diamond 2
HTC touch pro
Nokia 5730
Nokia e52
Blackberry bold

thats it..

It scored better over its sister the e75 on battery,,audio quality thru headfones,100 GBP cheaper,,gaming keys, carl zeiss optics, the qwerty keyboard is the widest and best of any smartfone in the world,,main electronics have been updated over e75 and upgraded GPS,contact based homescreen, speak to play music,,mp3 controls, full N-series fotos and video carousel,,social networks widgets and also with the gps update a digital compass is added..So its got a bit more than its sibling e75 but lacks full quick office meaning it will only have basic version and full version will be paid for.

It also says it has translucent panels that work well in spotlights such as pub or club??

One thing i would like to know is can the led be used as a torch,thanx..

> In reply to ZU! @ 2009-11-13 21:20 from TREq - click to readI haven half been on a journey this month and have settled on 5730 and ordered one..I can tell from your question that your serious about buying one..I am in uk and buy a mag every month thats been out quite a few years and was shocked when 5730 scored 9/10.I will post again with the other smartfones that scored 9/10 and in the whole time the mag has never given a full 10 ..

There's just one thing i want to comfirm before i make up my mind on whether or not to buy this phone.

Q: HOW LONG WILL THE BATTERY LAST?
PS* i hope i get some good replies from 5730 users and not some spoilers. i'm really confused as i read the comments, some said it's bad and others said it's good.

cheers !

> In reply to ... @ 2009-11-12 16:37 from fs1y - click to readIt does.... Its just that the keyboard wont do inline edit properly otherwise normal imput works great!! And if you like inline edit the keypad covers that very well!
