The way i see it, this is why the nokia 5730 has a qwerty and a standard key board.

+++the qwerty is what the whole phone revolves around. Nokia are most probably running out of form factors and hence are trying to revive ols designs and make them accesable to the mid class. Remember qwertys in the past used to be VERY EXPENSIVE.

+++now if this phone didn't have a standard keyboard, i wouldn't even think of buying it. I don't listen to music. (its all trash). I'm into games. Not having a standard keyboard means it wouldn't be compatible with most of the games out there. Even the screen resolution is just right for gaming. 240 by 320 is the most common on mid range phones. if it had a bigger screen resolution, i dont thing i could buy it.

Why the hell would any one not like a 5730. I don't have one but a friend does. Its really cool. If you want a loud speaker, get an mp4. The phone is meant to be a cheap solution. Kind of a do it all.

I am little bit confused. Are office application(Word, Excel, Powerpoint)supported in this phone.
If not, Is there any way to download them?

don't be too harsh on this mid range phone..this is only a mid range phone not a high one..the "wobblying" of the side slider QWERTY all depends on the user..am i ryt?..all kinds of mobile phones need extra care..unless if ur holding a 3310?/./l0lx.!..

This handset will never be launched in Asia it seems NOKIA has understood the faults in same & is scared to launh it..
Can sum1 suggest me which mob is more worth purchasing E71 or NOKIA 5730????

hye...
i've try many way 2 silent up my camera sound shutter..
some said juz set up my current profile 2 silent mode,
n some said silent up the warning tone..
but it doesnt work at all..
can u give me any other tips gsmarena??

if u'r planning to buy this fone, i'm planning you..it ain't worth ur money..

mono speakers, bad camera, wobbly slider, hangs a lot,and a plenty more..

don't be a fool like me for buying this fone in the first place..

i only had this fone for a couple of weeks and got tired of it..good thing i was able to sell this..but man, it cost me 4000 down the drain..i sold it a price 4000 less the original price..

if u have tme, browse all the opninions postes here, u won't surprised that there are a lot mor negative comments regarding this phone thatn positive ones..believe me..

a total piece of junk..
