Nokia 5800 XpressMusic - user opinions and reviews

Nokia

> In reply to Peter @ 2010-03-19 10:32 from fX1bSame here, OVI suite sux, has a lot of bugs as well. Also it's a pain in the ass. It is advisable to download the Nokia PC suite frpm the nokia website. That's what i use and it's really easy to handle, sync , update etc. :)

The disk that comes with the Nokia 5800 has OVI Suite on it but not Nokia PC Suite. Does OVI replace PC Suite and is it advisable to remove PC Suite from my PC after OVI is installed? I find OVI rather user unfriendly but I guess i'll have to get used to it!
Can anyone help please?

I just purchased a 5800 and the features are absolutely impressive. My previous phone was a nokia E51,which was also an excellent business model. Two questions though. When connecting to the internet, the E51 gives you an option to choose between the various connection options that are available, including WLAN. The 5800 by default however connects me to the access provided by my service provider, without any further option. This is irritating, as I prefer my WLAN connection at home. How do I make my WLAN connection the default connection or, alternatively, how do I get the phone to provide me with an option to choose the connection I want?

Please help!

my software version is V21.0.025 I want to update it to the latest version. But when i go to CHECK FOR UPDATES in the phone, it asks to create a new server profile. But i want to update through Wifi. But there's no option to choose it. please tell me what to do. thank you.

After the introduction of copy-cats sets like 5230 5235 5233 in india, people now hesitate going for 5800 considering it looks same as the other downsized cheap versions. It seems like "birds of cheap feather flocks together."
