my nokia 6290 works already for 5 years and its still fine, it has realy good speakers. The only problem is with battery which after these years became short.

My card was ok, but my friends (insert sim or sim card not recognised). Than i pressed the sim card holder to thin it and it worked perfect. Oh yah, his card was from another provider as mine and it was thiner, enough to make problems. I hope it helped for you. Cheers.

The phone is excellent! I'm using it for more than 3 years and it still works perfectly. Besides I like its fold model. Very practical and nice.

my 6290 got a lot of problems...it seem restart itself when i've inserted a simcard after a few minute....sometime it will suddenly display "INSERT SIM" or "SIM REGISTRATION FAILED" during the standby mode..but it work excellently without simcard..i can take a picture,playing game,listen to radio & MP3..i just brought to "mobilephone clinic" and found no prob with the software and hardware...anybody can help me?

what can i say the phone is just amazing i have it since 3 years but im still using no damages or anythin it works exactly the same way as the first day i bought it its got all extras and of all nokia phones this must be the loudest one the music is unbelievable

i have this phone too
and i like it until today
the BEST of this phone is the loudspeakers!!
i use it since 2 years and i nerver saw a phone which is loud like the 6290
the battery is the second best thing its during a long time for games and music
the camera quality is for me okay and i love my phone
only what i miss in my 6290is a WLAN connection =)
but except for is this phone my favourite =)

the phone is simply fantastic. i used it until robbers stole it. it can do so many things, like record, camera, video. best of all, the memory is massive. you can edit pictures and pimp pictures. really nice fone

Anybody know where i could get this in Singapore? I have gone to some nokia shops and some local telco shops - they have not even heard of this model. :(
i have been searching online and only 1 person seems to sell this phone - without warranty.
I have a 6267 and its really a good phone, but with the Symbian OS of this phone - this is really a steal.
not to mention it's stereo quality sound - based from the review anyway. cant wait to have this phone.

Very good this phone, the point negative is the resolution of the recording. The resolution of the nokia 6267 is excellent, your display also; is the all screen, more the 6267 it is not good to web. I am satisfied with my phone. :)
