Have had this phone a few days now. I bought it as a sim free and having some problems with internet service. Love the look and feel of the phone but was hoping it would be simular to 6220 but its not. Menus not as deep, keep looking for things and running into dead ends. Biggest problem for me is the time-out which is only 10 seconds. Contacted Nokia support and was told this could not be changed. Finding this a nightmare. Allround I prefer the 6220 classic however I like slide phones. Going to sell 6600i and try the 6260 slide instead.

The Nokia 6600i slide is a great phone. From experience, this phone has a great receptivity. I chose this phone because its design is attractive, classic and sleek. Moreover, the slider is smooth. The SAR value is rather low - 0.35kw/g. The ringing volume is way much better than Nokia 6300.
Of course, all phones are not perfect. As I am so used to Nokia 6300, I miss having the blue light signal alert for missed calls or messages which the 6600i doesn't have. The phone's metal body gets hot after 10 mins of usage. This phone is quite heavy and so text messaging can involve a bit of a balancing ability of the fingers when texting with one hand.
In all, I feel that the Nokia 6600i is great phone. From its appearance, it looks as if it were a combination of Nokia 6500 slide and Nokia 6280. :)

The phone is very slow and uncomfortable to hold. The softkey and call/hang up buttons are too small for my thumb. The camera isn't great either eventhough it's 5mp with auto focus. The pics are snot sharp at all. The battery life is ok but not great. I'd give 6 out of 10 points and it's a disappointment for me.

i think its very good cause Nokia phone last long, its not every day people have to buy a new phone, so Nokia keep making good long lasting phones.

Really wondering if all those Nokia engineers are sleeping all day, making new phones with old ones as usual with Nokia. Time to come up with new phones and S40 Touch phones, or Samsung will be Number One soon

Stylish design , all specs for me are very nice
what i see bad:
no delete button
no button for quick zooming
voice is too low, i cant use it for alarm;and this is the worethest thing that makes me sell the phone.
no shortcut for landscape photo
we cant use the front camera for photo it is only for video calling

Use to own a 6500 Slide so I'll take reference from it.
More elegant design compared to the bulky 6500 slide.
The inferface looks and works almost the same as the 6500. The speed is also as fast so messaging and stuff are a breeze.
So weakness I found:
- No shutter keys and volume keys, so you need to get use to it.
- The sliders abit shaky for my set, I tried the dummy set and it's tight, not sure if it's my set only, it send to service center to tighten it.
Other than that, it's looking good.
