This is an unbelievably bad phone. The only good thing is its looks. Crappy keyboard, unreadable in the sun, undetectable vibration, useless non-working profiles, and the update has made the (Nokia) bluetooth hands-free undetectable!!!! I cannot believe Nokia sells this product. Its support page is decades old and non-functioning! It leads to an error. Never again a mistake like this!!!! Good riddance bloody Nokia!

go to profiles anf personalise ie and then off the warning tones....it will disable the shutter sound of the camera.....

Hi, i just bought a 6600u slide phone yesterday...

it is a nice simple phone (not too good yet not so bad). overall, good thing with this phone is its built quality and the bad thing is its camera.

but i still like it!

*** need a lil' help with its camera auto-focus,

i am having a hard time figuring it out.

coz' sometimes the auto focus turns green but most of the time it is red. i know the green one says it a good shot but i always make sure i have a good shot but it still turns red. out of 10 good still shots, only 1 turned green. =(

pls help me anyone who is knowledgeable about this prob.

any comment will do...

Hello Guys, I have a question, I am wanna buy this phone for my Mom, you think its a good phone for her ? as she will using it only as a phone. And the 2nd Q is, if the price $240 ok for this phone?

I have been offered this phone as a replacement for one that has been lost. I have read all the comments - most of them negative. Should I accept or take the Sony Ericcson W 595which I could have instead.
