im pretty sure u can get new firmware if u send ur fone to where u bought it or to a nokia customer centre place. Mine is also version 4.0437.4.

u can play mp3 ring tone even if its saved on memory card.

hey ppl, the 6670 and 3230 are exactly the same price here(16,500rs). The obv question that pops up is which is the better buy, considering that i just want to have average to good quality mp3 output, ease of sharing with my friends via bluetooth, and messagin has to be fast!plus other things like having mp3's as ringtones, which someone said is not possible in 3230 unless the mp3 is on the phone memory. tat sucks cuz the phone memory is already quite small!

u CAN autolock your fone but u need to download the program-
i found two websites, the first one is you hav to pay 5euros but u get a few more features than the second download which is for free.
ive only tried the second website as i didnt want to pay the 5euros but i can guarentee that it works well and completely in the background so it doesnt popup on the screen that shows the applications that are currently running

i just got the nokia 6670 a month ago
overall the fone is very good and im very satisfied with it. Not sure why the price is dropping so fast as this fone is so good-

Good: Camera is good but doesnt handle well in areas that arent very well lit. About normal for a 1mp fone. Durable, good quality and easy to use. Lovin the movie director application. The adobe photoshop album starter 2.0 that comes with the cd is really good at sharpening the pictures and makin them look better

Bad: mp3 player!!! yes this fone has crappy loudspeaker and is only monophonic. The mp3 quality improves a bit if u dl ultra mp3 onto your fone. The keys are a little hard to press but i got used to them after about a week. The red key on the right side of the keypad is strangely harder to press than the other keys but this is how the fone was built.

Battery for me lasts about 2-3 days max but im a pretty heavy user.
In the end im glad that i bought this fone. Worth the price!!!

i dont think any software can allow you to listen to radio. but HS-2R headset by nokia would definitely allow to do that.

i had the 6230 and it had a auto keypad lock fuction and i waz just wondering if this phone has the same feature.

if so can someone tell me how to active it as i have the 6670 phone now and i always forget to keylock the pad so i end up calling ppl?

this fone is damn gooooooooooooood!!!!!!! as it has everything.those nut cases who say that nokia6670 has small keys actually nokia6630 & nokia 6670 have same size keys.Man some people are really dumb they know nothin

I bought it at 3 weeks ago. Good phone , similar a PC , i check my e-mails , i see and i change also documents like word, excel , powerpoint , pdf , good photos for a phone, good screen, battery for 5 days (not 24 hours ). Good reception , sound clear , rings very loud if we need. Is similar to have a little computer in your pocket, of course with limitations but very good for a phone. A lot of software in the internet, etc.

i have read a few reviews on this site and i must admit that those were the best i have seen. the reviews describe everything very clearly and precisely and consider every aspect that a user of a phone would come across by actually using the phone for sometime.

but its a pity that there is no review for 6670. there is one for 7610 which is very similar but there are still certain differences which one would like to know about.

it would be great if you guys can write a review for 6670 or edit the 7610 review to incorporate the differences.

well, sidhart i dont know about 6670 keypad being hard to press as compared to 7610 but what i do know is that 7610 keypad is a little confusing.

7610 is too 'stylish' whereas 6670 is more of a business phone but still very stylish. plus 6670 is the newer model and has a couple of better features. but overall they have the same features.

and whats more, u can get 6670 a little cheaper than 7610
