I ain't no Nokia basher I recently swapped a SE K700 for the Nokia 7610 and have owned half a dozen Nokias, anyway yes you can tell the difference in the screen quality and colour, this screen is identical to the 7610's and the 6600's 65k colour screen, which is over a year old design not only that the 176 x 208 pixel display is really poor, you can actually see the pixels while other phones like the SE S700 & Sharp GX 30 with 262K and 240 x 320 pixels have a much chrispier,clear and brighter more detailed screen. Damn you Nokia I love my 7610 but you you're gonna keep feeding us with more shit like this you ain't gonna survive!

256k colour screens are just a marketing trick (at least on SE S700 and some Samsung phones): yes, the screen can show 256k colours BUT the OS's of the phones use only 65k of these available colours.

Looks like skater's back then.
Anyway I agree the phone looks bland and the screen is still 65000 colour!!! If Nokia don't upgrade soon they will find themselves languishing behind the likes of SE, Motorola and Samsung etc

Hmmmmm....
I don't mind the rounded look, but not with this bland color. Features are good, but I wouldn't buy it. Mainly because of the screen, the very small keys and that it's a Nokia.
I can't think of why I'm neither attracted nor appauled by this phone... It's not special, but it's not horrible either....

Still 65K colors ? Almost all brands have 265K screens now but Nokia still don't. Also, they could make the screen a little bigger.

Personally I think its a lot better than their recent phones but having said that its still not great. Its features are strong. 1 megapixel camera and MP3 player etc. Its looks better than their latest phones but still doesnt look anything other than basic, to me. 6 for design, 9 for features, and 8 for performance. I still think they are bringing out too many phones at once though. I cant keep up with all the new (mostly horrible) Nokia phones... But this one is a good phone. Nokia did a good job at last.

Ahh why o why have they STILL stuck with the 65,000 colour screen??? I think the 7610's keypad is really easy to use don't diss it until you tried it!!! Anyway there ain't much difference between this and the 7610 or the 6630 what is going on with Nokia???

Nice phone to business users and a great successor for 6600/6620. :) (Many business users do not want to pay for WCDMA of 6630 and 6260 is not really a business phone.)

great phone feature wise like the 7610.
only downside is its a little bland loooking.
still if you want a more stylish shape there is always the 7610.

that's the weakest phone I've ever seen..
My 4 year old Nokia is even better than that A90!!
