man the 6300 was a successor ... it seems like this one is also going to be a big hit cause the specifications are above average, but what only lacking is the wifi........ hope another version comes out with the wifi ......

very good strategy. Here some reasons for not having a few things;
1. No WIFI: The fone is targeted at current users of 6300 which it is set to replace, those who bought 6300 were looking for slim, stylish easytouse fone who didnt really bother for WIFI

2.No 3.5mm jack: It may have or may not aint sure but again for 6300 users ive come across they had no idea (most of them) what the 3.5mm jack is.

3. Nseries and 5xxx series normally have 3.5mm jack for such series users want decent music quality. If u r one of them this prob isnt for you. Its for those who just want megapixels, sleek and beautiful body

One more thing worth mentioning...does this phone have a 3.5mm audio jack like the 6303 Classic.

If not, that would really be a shame.

Compared to Nokia's other phones, this one finally uses high-quality materials.

The only exception is the 8800 Arte series, which are VERY expensive.

Also, S40 is great! It is simple, fast and easy to use.

Most people still prefer to use keypads!

Overall, a very nice phone.

Wi-fi would be pointless on such a small screen.

It is also important to note that when Nokia released the 6300, they released the 6301 with Wi-fi shortly after that.

They will probably do the same with this phone.

what is good for a GPS chip inside if there's no symbian on it? Just fancy like iphones ?

Finally, a beefed up Nokia that is slim and resembles the 6300. But when will Nokia introduce an 8 MP camera to their phones ?

Using wi-fi on screens less than 2.6" is horrible for a serious browsing .but a fancy phone with 5 mp camera is good to have that too at a good price .anyways, gps is there as an accesory.

This phone looks very nice, but I don't understand why Nokia keeps insisting on releasing mobile phones without WLAN. Why put a GPS on such a small display phone and no WLAN?
Nokia has a really great phones but big disadvantages for them: NO WLAN!
I really don't get it!
