ya!zoom problemo..when i use camera or internet it zoom in/out itself..very problemo phone,i change it with c6-00 model...

create a new n0kia navigator cellph0ne with gps and wi-fi. n0t akward design and n0t slide. with 40 h0urs using gps navigati0n and 50 h0urs music playback, the n0kia 6710 navigat0r is many pr0blem with texting ang d0esent save draft and outb0x. stupid z0om. and repair with electrical tape f0r z00ming pr0blem.that is stupid.

Stay away! The phone just zooms in and out by itself! Havn't had my phone for 5 months because of repairs...

6710 Navigator Problems (very annoying).

The problems range from :

a. Makes a phone call to a random name on the phone once or twice a month, even when it's locked away in its carry case.
b. Keypad Beeps stop, requires a restart.
c. Menu Icons become currupt, requires a restart.
d. Locks up and won't respond, requires battery to be removed.
f. Menus rarely link to a different menu.
g. Many phone calls hangup moment after answering a call.
h. Many out going calls hangup moments after connection.
i. Incomming calls and SMSs occasionaly don't have a ring tone.
j. The Slide if open when in a call will hangup a call if it's ever so slightly touched.
k. Occasionally will not charge, or doesn't show it's charging, removing and replacing the battery often fixes this.
l. Very hard to get a software update to complete, often get a fail report, persistance pays off and after several attempts the software update completes.
m. Nokia PC software often fails doing a backup.

As allot of other people I'm experiencing the same problem with the zoom, will watch the "fix" on you-tube. Is it only on my phone or does anybody else have the problem with texting & typing on facebook. I can type away & all goes well, but then suddenly the keys freeze & I have to press a 100 times before it accepts the letter. Is this a common problem or just on my phone?

i've just purchased nokia 6710 online a week ago.. yesterday, for the first time, i've tried to use the usb port to transfer data + charging. but it doesnt respond at all. i carefully pull out the usb and the usb port fall out together. i went to shop to fix this but he said it was unfixable. is this true? (btw, as i buy online, my seller claims no responsibility and said it is my fault. i would nvr again buy from him!)

NOKIA 6710 NAVIGATOR FOR ME is not too good and rotten zooming among the more I like yet another dedicated zooming him. Over time he destroyed the zoom few months. Funny corrupt it even more beautiful that iigagawa nnavigator Yug.

Bought this phone on ebay at christmas but in the last few weeks the phone has gone dead, won't switch on. Have taken it into a local phone shop to repair, they thought it was a software problem but they couldn't resolve it as the phone would not turn on so they could reset it and download new software..any ideas on whats wrong and how to resolve.thanks

When I text anyone it, the text just doesnt go and stays in the outbox
anybody knows what should I do ?

open the nokia, took me 2 hours at least to try to not break anything. put 2 tapes, didnt work, try to figure out, really need to cover the whole surface of the zoom with 2 layers of electric insulation tape(the black one).3 layers is too much but can be done, the plastic cover screen where it s printed "navigator" curves.
no crazy zoom any more, and the phone works like a charm.
internet wifi is very good as i can connect in the streets on open wifi, even call on skype (can install unofficial skype), GPS is great. can download download and read my email. no need to go on a pc to see if u have email. great phone if you dont have 3G and carrier. i want to throw away this phone, but now i keep it .I am in asia.

i love this phone ,i fixed zoom problen with tape and everything works just fine ,this phone has so many stuff,the best thing i like about this phone is tv out ,it rocks :D

my navigator has key pad trouble only the red button and centre control button work. occasionally the phone works properly. is this a slide problem or a virus. How does one solve this. Company Mr Useful. Experience handyman

my images zoom unecessarilly when ever i view them.Sometimes the mobile just freezes,switches off & on unecessarilly.
