Hi to all nokia E72 user, I've checked the CPU speed of my E72 with the used of "Xplore application", it shows 192mhz. I expect a 600mhz. Is there any of you the same as mine?

my e72 is having its wifi restarted or u can say refreshing is it the problem with set or the software i need the reply as soon as possible ? what should i do?

at last e72 can play AVI files

for extra ..it can play dvd files and many more formats but u hv to install required apps...:) :)

Hey all, did any one compare this fone with E71?! Its almost the same. Only difference is the 5MP camera & 600MHz CPU & look!! Better go for N900. Its a bomb..

There is some rubbish out there but these new smartfones like bada ,android are so simple to use i cannot take them seriously..symbian/windows/palm/ all are like proper smartfones but peole want simplicity so i-phone crap and SGS etc sell.

If you want a multimedia powerhouse the sammy wave is superb its my second fone and for price audio/cam/video/screen/screen outdoors and battery life are top notch,its the nicest fone ive used to be honest but its touchscreen & i just cant get on with touchscreen.Text input is just a nightmare as you walking in busy street or even sat at home..

The e72 has had no probs besides normal symbian quirks,hangs now and again but they work like computers and everyday under heavy use you should switch of your mini computer and reboot to clear out the gunge..

I am using 32GB card and its ok but will take a while to refresh music as does windows media player on a desktop so cant complain,i have 24GB music but thats not the problem its the 32GB in wave thats heavily used,WHY,cause it sucks up 80MB of video a minute of recording and these new 12MP willdo the same.I have started to rerecord my cd to full power 320kB/S & that takes up more memory..

Lastly when i transferred the 24MB of music i gave up after 2 hrs of waiting & went & did shopping its a nightmare cause 32GB card is class 2 speed.

To person who said symbian has no apps,eh,i have used symbian since nokia 3650 and was downloading apps then in 2003 ,there are thousands of apps ..I think people use OVI store and think thats it,symbian has been doing apps for way back in the Psion days which lead to symbian..Not many apps??????

does nokia e72 have a FB and Yahoo messenger application already installed or do you still need to install it on your own?

Have owned this phone for about 8 weeks after replacing my iPhone 3GS due to its poor battery life. The E72 doesn't compare to the iPhone 3GS on style or features (especially since the E72 has practically no apps) but has alot of redeeming features. The E72's battery will easily last a week on heavy use and the 5MP camera is very good. The phone will hold practically unlimited contacts and text messages, and my model shipped with a free 4GB micro SD card. The phone also has a very user friendly interface and an extremely easy to use keyboard. Downsides of the E72 - the screen isnt great quality; photos only look crisp once uploaded to a computer. The phone can often be slow when opening a folder containing alot of items.

yes the new firmware does the autolock ,i don't find it that annoying but i think nokia must add an option in the next FW update to manually set the autolock .

Does anyone here r have auto keypad lock problem after updating to the latest software? (version 0.51)?

I'm not referring to the solution of setting the auto keypad lock period to none under the security menu but what i want is that it doesn't auto locks itself while i'm still browsing, listening to music or composing a message just as what i have used to have before updating the software..

FYI, i've tried resetting the phone many times, been to nokia care several times and yet, the problem still arises..i'm getting pretty annoyed and pissed off with the latest software of this phone..all i want is to be reverted back to its earlier software version!!

please kindly help and advice!

I am going to buy E72, currently I am using E63 with update firmware 500.21.009 but there is no option to save a phone number as a sms sent is in sent items and this is a new number even you move this text to inbox,

I repeat my question if you sent a new sms to a new number which is not save in your contacts. Is there any way to save this new number to your contacts from sent items???

if yes then i will buy E72 because it has a good Camera as well high computation power as well accelerometer and secondary camera also working but in VGA :(

but I luv N800 :)
