Nokia E75 - user opinions and reviews

Nokia

well what can i say? i've changed more than 4 cellphones this year but this 75 is sticking with me for more than 4 months. awesome phone. only one shortcoming, if you can put it that way, the battery is not built for heavy net usage. nokia always keeps something away from the users.

very bad phone, the phone has a lot of manufacturing faults i guess because of which the keypad stops working after about 4-5 monts u start using this phone.
im planning to sell it right now i took it in july 2009, belev me phon is good overall but all those i know who r using this phone are suffring through the same problem i.e. keypad not working, phone gets switched off automaticly anytime, etc.........

If you're using your phone simply for calls and SMSs, then expect it to last you 3-4 days easily. This is in an area of good reception btw (because in areas of low reception, the phone uses more power ;))

> In reply to Jin Madera @ 2009-11-05 20:08 from t7D1Battery life, overall good. It definitely lasts 1.5 days on extensive feature use.

If you do the following PER DAY: using Bluetooth headphones 2hrs (include music player playing - consumes resources as well), 15 minutes WiFi (multiple email synchronizations, minimal web browsing), 45 minutes total talking on phone, WLAN Scan OFF, and phone is generally in an area of good reception... Then your phone should last about 2 days. Bluetooth is the limiting factor here btw.

I usually charge my phone every 3 days or so with average use.

Also, remember that it charges from USB, so every time you want to sync something with your computer (be it music, podcasts, messages, etc), it charges your phone.

By the way, the next generation (Hi-Efficiency) charger that comes with the phone is Brilliant! Charges the phone from zero to full in just over an hour. Superb ;)

> In reply to naman @ 2009-11-03 19:39 from vb$YThe phone is not sold with any provider in the US, so if you buy it in the US, it'll have to be unlocked, which means you can use it on any GSM network in the world (since it's quad-band too).

Believe it is a great phone. A bit hard to use to begin with as have previously been using the i phone and have recently changed to this, however still very good.
