> In reply to Allan @ 2009-09-10 04:54 from mp8G - click to readI agree with Allan. It looks like your regular bar phone (with a slick display), but the real magic happens when the swift keyboard slides out. There's no competition! I personally don't like the tiny QWERTY buttons the E71 has and similar Blackberries - It doesn't look aesthetic to me - I like a clean professional modern look for my phone.
I did search for some alternative BL-4U batteries, and found a 1100mAh High Capacity battery - just google it and you'll find it. It sells for $7 online, and based on my calculations it adds about 12-20hrs of standby and 45 minutes of [GSM] talk time. It's not much, but then again, the battery cover is the limiter, so they can only squeeze as much from a battery with the same size! Props all E75 owners!

> In reply to zard @ 2009-09-04 15:29 from fjv1 - click to readHi
I agree with what you say - I think that the E61 looks even cooler than either the E63 or E71. I also like it's slightly bigger size (for the screen and keyb - which is important to me because I'm diabetic and my vision needs all the help it can get). The E63 and E71 do have some advantages. I.e. headphone jacks and V2 bluetooth with A2DP stereo as opposed to the E61's v1.2 bluetooth with mono sound (over bluetooth earphones/headsets). The E63 and E71 have cameras and the E71 has a videocalling camera and A-GPS and HSPDA - i.e. 3.5G. In all other respects I prefer the E61 though. It's wifi is great, its 3G is great - even if 3G UMTS. The net browser I had on the t-mobile E61 was brilliant - especially when using wifi. My only real fault with the E61 is that it's too cool looking and so it's too big a thief magnet. That's one of the reasons I'm also getting an E75 (which when 'closed' likes a very basic Nokia alphanumeric pad phone).

> In reply to krishna @ 2009-09-03 18:05 from t@5b - click to readAbsolutely. It's similar in specification to the E71 and the Nokia 5800 express music (except it's not touchscreen and the E75 has a slide-out h/w qwerty keyb rather than a total monoblock phone like the E63 and E71. This, IMHO makes it less of a cool looking phone when the keyboard is closed - but that's a good thing as it then looks like a very basic Nokia rather than the highly desirable thief magnet that the E63 and E71 do - especially the E71.
If you want touchscreen get a 5800 - if you want a non-touchscreen qwerty smartphone, get the E75 - I recommend it highly. To me, its the best non-touchscreen on the market - though I wish it had the E71's battery.

> In reply to sopranos_84 @ 2009-09-06 13:30 from nEKC - click to readI agree... loving the phone. LOTS of preloaded and useful applications - Document Viewer, Realplayer, etc... Lots of settings to customize the phone as well. This is my 2nd day with the phone and I have yet to really test the battery (as a normal day), because I played around with it too much the first day ;) WiFi, RealPlayer, Youtube, Document Viewer, GPS, Maps, Bluetooth file transfering, and setting up my phone in general. LOTS to do with it!!!

> In reply to Nikki @ 2009-09-09 12:45 from N9s@ - click to readI'm not sure what the full problem is but I was able to set up my Gmail account out of the box. Something I realized hours later (same problem as yours) was that I had to configure my Ports (on phone) and IMAP forwarding on Gmail for my emails to actually be delivered and synched. What email account/service are you trying to set up your phone with?

> In reply to 3adoool @ 2009-09-07 13:10 from fvJ9 - click to readI installed Nimbuzz (consolidates all messaging services into one application, much like trillian for PC) on my E75 for use with Skype VoIP, but there are numerous threads on Nokia's forums regarding VoIP. The VoIP software is installed on the phone out of the box, but unless you have registered with a SIP provider, it's not entirely usable as I've read on threads. Here's the link, hope it helps: http://discussions.europe.noki...44370#M43531

I've had many Phones in my life, and i got the E75 around 2 weeks ago. Best phone ive ever had. Maybe little too expensive in the UK, but you get alot of Apps and tools on this phone! Great camera, good quality sound and the Wi-Fi is excellent! Buy this Phone!
