I cant rellay knock nokia for this fone because nokia were pushed into making an 8MP fone..Nokia wanted to concentrate at the 5MP mark only but as the market and customers rule they too had to release an 8MP unit..They definetly need to get the graphics back used on n95 , redo , or overhaul series 60 but yet again they could not because as customers and market rule they had to bring out touchscreen for the market..

Facy buying a fone with bad d-pad and the lens protector actually scratches the lens ?? got to be the just one of the worst fones out the n-series..The only decent n-series ive used is n958GB and n82 but n82 screen is bit dim and an off white background..

This n86 is a nice phone tho cuz i love nokia but it's reli a n85 with a 8mp camera wow big whoop! If you want a camera in buy a digital camera. N85 is a hue phone i have one but n96 is better especially in audio quality and memory functions, the slide is better the n86 just has 8mp rather than 5mp that's the only thing it has over the n9 series

if the most important thing in a phone is a camera n86 is a no brainer it is the best

before you comment on the flash maybe you should try it first it does really good job almost as good as xenon believe me i was suprised at how well it worked

hi to all nokia user and other brands user,,, still i vote for N95_8gb, this mobile is on the top (KinG) of nokia mobiles at least is Korean made not China, & i ask if any one here of nokia developer will deliver my message to NOKIA co. please return to finland made, we don't like china made especially of N & E series,,,,,,, all agree with me or??!!

All guys here want to buy n86 just coz' it boasts of 8mp camera which feels quite ordinary without the xenon flash and no good investment.
N82 still rules the n-series segment when it comes to image quality.
While n86 has got same image quality as that of n85 only that you get a bigger resolution which is the only major difference you see.
Overall nice phone but i find it to be tard ugly and looks quite outdated.
We expect much nicer phones from Nokia in future!

for sure it is a neat device, maintained it will too, but today i dropped it on the road and the glass broke off.

It's camera and sound quality is better than my hubby's SE 8mp camera and I never own other phones than Nokia. Anyway, my daughter will get her N97 by tomorrow. :)
