this phone is good but not better....

well i started using my n97 mini around 16 months ago...in starting it worked very well then a problem of auto switch off and on arised....and after some days another provlem arised which is of battery back up.....
it has excellent gps feature.....all applications are not supported...it gets hang.....superb qwerty keypad....

I have my N97 mini since 17 months. A very bad smartphone compared with the other brands available now. The only advantage is its excellent GPS. I am nearly sure my next smartphone will not be a Nokia.

2nd its all about the site u go to. some are very light and some with alot of flash intensive ads like the ones one low security sites or those with lots of large pics will eat ur memory up fast so always look 2wards mobile friendly sites...I hard rest my phone about a week ago and I havent gotten a full memory error since. The phone will move faster outside the browser as well...

DISADVANTAGES
1. the classic has 32gb built in against the mini's 8gb
2. the classic has a 3.5" screen against the mini's 3.2"
3. classic has camera lens protective slider mini has none
4. classic has FM transmitter which allows music to b broadcasted to any1 with a radio within a couple yards of u
ADVANTAGES
1. The mini has a slightly more responsive touch screen
2. bcuz both screens have the same resolution the mini has a higher pixel density meaning cleaner picture
3. the mini has a much more high grade build to it, with a metal back cover.
Neutral
1. the classic has D-pad navigation but the mini has 4 arrows and an enter key(its up to u which u prefer)
Like I said, I really like my mini and no1 can stop the love I have 4 it. But just the other day I saw a tall friend of mine and he saw my phone and took pulled a N97 classic out his pocket and said to me "Everything about small boy" hahahaha. Which made me think that the greatest disadvantage to having the mini is that its just the smaller version of another phone :(...

i think it is very good because as compared to n8 n other phones the mini is too good because its has keyboard which is a good option for the people wo feel prlm in using touch screen keboard the key board make eassy phone i m using this one n i m not going to seel it because i will keep it n will compareit with another

its battery is tooo short....very bad..im using it its a good one....but battery is upto 5 hrs...

I am using this phone for last 20 months and I don't think it's a very good one. But my problem is I am fond of QWERTY and from that point of view, mini is great.
Battery life is too short specially if I browse and sync mail.
Now I have 2 questions:
1. Is there any bigger battery for it?
2. Is it up-gradable to belle?
If it's up-gradable to belle, how is the performance?
