Hey guys. What happened?

I've been using a thesaurus and a dictionary in writing that post. And it was a long one.

> In reply to larisa romero @ 2010-03-12 19:45 from Y1TJHey mate, i did the same thing, upgraded from a w810i to this handset. It is worth it if you dont use the Walkman series media player in the handset, while the c510 has a 'good' media player, its not as good as a Walkman style (by the way, the speaker is not very good, if you leave it upside down, the sound is almost completly shut off). Also if you have more then 2gbs of memory on the fone it will slow quiet dramaticaly.
Though if it is the camera your after, then yes, because it has a lot better camera quality/ features then the w810i.
After you have concider these features, your choice is made because other then these main advantages/ disadvantages, the fone is far more crisp, slick, stylish, possibably lighter and obviously newer and with all the little things that come with a new and improved handset.
Hope I helped
Al

> In reply to larisa romero @ 2010-03-12 19:45 from Y1TJafter having both fones i would stick with the w810, it was ahead of its time and still few fones compare to its specs even to this day.

i bought my unit 2 weeks ago and i was amazed by its superb capabilities. i have been dying to buy this phone ever since it came out on the market. but what kinda downed my expectations was its camera. shots taken from poorly-lit environment were really bad, even if i used its flash. i have to use another option, twilight, to make me able to get better photos. but sadly, in that option, i can't use the flash. in other words, if you are to take a photo of dim-lighted scene, you can't see anything. crap.

I've had this phone (black colour) since May 09 & so far its fine minor software issues solved with an update.. While doing a software upgrade need to be carefull & have a reliable net connection (do not try without proper net!!!)

Sound amazing!
Colour on the side & cam button has gone off slightly but not by much sill looking almost new.
Problem with SE is that if u want it to look good you need to take care of it properly n most people who buy a SE dont sell unless old or some problem (or they need money desparatly!) hence poor resale value.

I intend on keeping phone for at least 4 years!

> In reply to vicky21 @ 2010-03-11 13:20 from 2T7XI have black c510. The gray stripes on the sides doesn't last long. It doesn't fade but kind of "chips off". Suggesting of poor materials(paint) used. It greatly reduces the resale value of the phone. I purchased it for 11,000+ but now the price is around 8,300. Feel like i've been ripped off. But considering the price of c510 now, I would say you go for it. Just be extra extra extra careful (which is really impossible) in handling your phone.
Another thing. The silvery frame of the d-pad fades and becomes pinkish/reddish in no time. Maybe it's just my phone. I don't know. Anyone have the same problem?
