first of all in considering this phone you have to look at the main factor - its an entry to mid range Sony, so dont expect crystal clear brilliance and 101 features.
In the price range that the w395 falls into its a bargain and a steal, the W395 blows most of the other similar priced phones out of the water. id compare this sony to the old f500i from a few years back, also a cheap phone that could handle and do almost anything else that the competing phones did at the time.

if you are a diehard nokia fan then stay away, sonys interface is very different to nokia's, but if you are open minded then give this lil baby a shot, i think you will be suprised on what you all get from this one hardcore lil phone

you CAN download mxit for this mobile phone. MXIT has a good version on their site. if you are having problems its your network provider to blame as some networks block mxit.
as for any other software problems, if you just be patient SE are always having upgrades done.

dis cel is a crap thing. nothin GUD in it. my cousin bought it for 7.500 and its just a waste. rit from da first day it got hanged up even if der was free memory o 1.5 gb. and da sound is oK. BUT NOT AS GUD As my SONY ERICSSON W550I. SONY ERICSSON W550I ROX AND YA SONY ERICSSON RULES...

this phone doesn't support notepad function, only have 1 alarm, cant rotate the photo that you capture. the photo capture in dark place is not nice, at bright place is much beauty.

so i forget my reason to buy this phone. Only 1 thing i like is music is good.

so this phone can suggest for those who want to buy for mummy and daddy.

the worest phone which i have used till now plz for god sake dont purchase this phones instead of purchasing this phone better dont use phone only this only a trouble creater to you i have purchased this phone a month back its as no features omly its just like a basise phone

DON'T but this cell if you are planning to. it isn't worth the cost, or even trouble to check it out.
395 has too many problems to write down. it's too slow, there are only 4 themes n u cant download any more, games take a long time to load, cant capture screen when video is paused, can't record an ongoing call, can't edit images the way you can in w200i, no notes, recorded sound quality is very bad, video sound is too low, battery-life is very very low, charging is slow.
i suggest go for a sony ericsson w200i. it doesnt have bluetooth or a good camera, but you can manage without them. infact, i say w200i is the best. n it's cheap.

it is a good phone having great voice in both the speakers and head phone it has a msg capac. of over 200 i have about 177 msgs but the biggest limitation is that i can"t able to download its themes the themes are available in mobileheart.com and mobiletoons.com but they r not supporting my fone so plz help me to get themes..........
