i've used this phone for 2 years and my experiences are:
-it accidentally fall to the toilet bowl.then it turned off by itself.i waited for about 1day till it truly clean and dry.when i turned it on, it still works perfectly except for the "Back" button.since i truly love this phone,i juz let it be...
-it fell for about tons of times and sometimes it does have those "Inactive Sims" going..but i juz open up the battery,clean it,and fill the battery back and switched it on.it works perfectly for me..=)
-since i'm a music keen (awesome bass)and flip lover..i love u my whitey W508..=D

really great...i used it for 2 straight years right now..and never had a problem even the battery..really love my red hearted 508... ;D

I have had the W508 for two weeks, it is great except that it has message 'Emergency Calls Only" on the top l.h.s. of the main screen, meaning I can't make or receive calls. Does anyhone know how to get rid of this. Thanx

i try to get stylish phone,not a expensive phone,, i think this is the best phone,, but, i do not like when we sms someone,, it makes me keep pen it

had W508 for 2 years...it's still in good condition and useable like always...love this phone so much...great camera,clear picture taken,great sound for listening to music...i had tried compared it with other brand phones...it's more better than others...love so much my W508...

I regularly get inactive sim

1. turn it off
2. take off back cover, remove battery, remove sim
3. clean sim and put all back in always works.

had phone for 2 years. On occasion option 2 and leave open for few hours, then put it back together. (i.e had it in pockets whilst exercising - i get inactive sim)

I have this phone for almost 1 year, but one day it stood all day with the charger pluged in, and for some reason now it doesn't work... can anyone help me... what could be the problem ?

Have had this phone for 18 months , and i have really looked after it .From about the first 4 months it began to play up ( inactive sim)It was repaired twice under the warranty but is now once again giving problems. Sony are just not interesed with my ongoing issue. I was told by the Phone Dealer that there has always been an ongoing problem with this phone. It is a pity that Sony do not recognise this problem . Apart from this, I am happy with the product but will not purchase another of this brand

brought this phone brand new (in new zealand)was GREAT for about 7 months then it started to screw up. everything lagged, it kept saying 'ínactive sim' for some weird reason. and then eventually buttons just stopped working. havnt treated it with the best care but it has happened o many other people i know too and they hae had to all get theirs repaired at some point. they are'nt exactly built to last. otherwise its awesome, has a conversation modein txting, and good camera with heaps of editing tools

Hi everyone. :)
I do *not* recommend this phone!! I have already sent it away to be repaired once (for the common fault of a button not working), and have recently sent it away again due to the screen no longer working. I have several friends with this phone, and they are all having problems with it. Granted, I did not take the best care of my phone, but I am not the only person who's having several common problems.
