Harwey, 26 Apr 2017What effect that adapter (type c>3.5mm) will create to the sound when connected to external... moreDepends on the adapter you bought
An expensive one should perform better and cheap one... Well cheap.
The mi6 will be a perfect phone if it has audio jack(when they has lot of headset line up)
The only company that i think are not going to remove the audio jack anytime soon is LG(boosting the built in quadDAC) Sony(they had lot of MDR headset series) and Samsung(recent acquisitions of HARMAN) also OnePlus(dont know the resoning dor this but just feel like)
I have seen this phone's hands on reviews and early camera reviews on a dozen different websites and youtube channels but no one is saying anything about the front camera.
Other than the resolution we have no idea wats going on there....???
Xiaomi is one of the best when it comes to selfie cameras.....
Let me knw if anyone knows about it.
What effect that adapter (type c>3.5mm) will create to the sound when connected to external stereo integrated amplifier?I really don't care about earphones plugged in,I use proper stereo full size headphones(fantastic AKG k550) connected to integrated amp(gem of an amp yamaha a-s500).Using that adapter will it ruin potentially good audio out from mi6?Any thoughts, guys?Or should I go for ZTE Axon 7 which has arguably best sound out there now..

almost perfect phone i love it. the design wow. but it does not support 3.5jack sad. wireless headset is for rich people only :)
The specs have no major differences with OnePlus 3T, I would choose the latter.
Octa-core consumes too much battery power. Quad-core is good enough.
Bad thing is Mi 6 doesn't have 3.5mm jack.
Donjon, 25 Apr 2017Any Flagship with big baterry?why flagship come with small battery?
Abisheik, 25 Apr 2017then dont buy wireless headphone!.. xiaomi is giving a converter of size 5 cm within the box..... moreI already have a Type C to 3.5 mm converter and the sound output is horribly distorted
for me it's perfect but i want to know the screen protection first
Have Xiaomi forgotten their customer base are in developing countries who really don't have the extra cash to buy those expensive tin-can Bluetooth headsets and can't be bothered putting on an adapter just so they can use their wired headphones. Imagine how many times you will have do that in a day when the alternative is so much easier. Just plug it in and your good to go. They copied a feature no sane Android manufacturer should even touch with a ten foot pole. They reduced usability for the sake of copying a company that have stop turning out any noteworthy feature since putting a fingerprint scanner in their phones. Honestly anyone who supports this removal shouldn't bother with Android anymore just save your cash and buy that glorified IOS toy.
