Hermes Hidayat, 04 Jun 2017Sorry for the very late reply. The Mi6 camera actually does better than the MiMix camera. ... moreIt's mostly experience and editing. People actually refuse to believe that some of the shots I post on my instagram are with my phone. Its just that I have been using cameras (a 12Mpix handheld compact from sony, don't rember the model) since I was 13 and editing them since 17 (you could call it a serious hobby). The editing software also matters. I mostly use adobe lightroom and a little bit of Pixlr express in some pictures for a bit of artistic effect. The filter based apps that the playstore is filled with won't do any good.
CAMAROMANIAC3, 26 May 2017Depends on your level of expection. Lol. How is the low light performance?Sorry for the very late reply.
The Mi6 camera actually does better than the MiMix camera. NOT as good as my S8 Plus but it is good enough. And i have seen a few people in instagram who take pictures with their Mi6 and MiMix and i wonder how the hell they take pictures xD i mean when i look at the photos i dont even think my S8 Plus can do it.
Maybe they use Pro Mode.

In Indonesia they have 2 versions. 64GB internal with Glass Back in Black Colour. The Ceramic version only has the 128GB version.
So 64GB is definitely Glass.
But 128GB has Glass and Ceramic.
Makhan., 01 Jun 2017Hey friends
I need some suggestion about honor 8 and mi 6
I know mi have sd 835 with highe... moreHonor 8 vs Mi6. Depends on the price of course.
Honor 8 pros:
-sd card slot (doubles as 2nd sim slot)
-the cool fingerprint scanner that doubles as a clickable button
-more LTE bands (Mi6 lacks Band 20 which is used by many European countries)
-official Rom for most parts of the world
-availability in most markets of the world
Mi 6 pros:
-insanely better hardware specs (sd 835 vs kirin 950, 6gb ram vs 4 gb ram, Adreno 540 vs Mali-T880)
-a bit better display
-slightly better battery endurance
-a bit better audio quality
The Rom issue is big for Mi6. Currently there is no official global Rom. The custom Rom's are not trustworthy (they might slow down your phone). The solutions for this are two: Buy a phone with the Chinese Rom (English or Chinese only, some chinese apps, you have to manually install play store) or wait until a global Rom is launched. The other factor is availability and pricing. Mi6 prices will vary (the most cheap option is an online 3rd party retailer). However, if these issues can be resolved Mi6 is far superior at raw power and will give you a better gaming experience. Honor 8 isn't a bad choice but it is just average. I would consider it only if it is has a bargain price tag.
Anony Mouse, 02 Jun 2017Not having micro sd memory card for storage expansion, and no 3.5mm headphone jack are the 2 b... moreOnce again. If you have your hands-free connected with the adapter (all the time) headphone jack is not an issue (the only thing you can't do is listen to music while charging your phone which is also not recommended doing so in general). SD card I agree it is a bummer but it is Xiaomi's policy so...you know it will be this way long before (anyone can predict mi 7 not having an sd card slot as well). So your basic arguments are kind of weak :/ . As long as the battery is concerned it is average. 4000 is too big for this phone (in order for a batter like this to fit in the phone would have been "thick")... I would like 3500-3600 but still I consider it reasonable. The endurance test from gsmarena shows good results (slightly better than the well-known flagships). To conclude, your points are not the most accurate. To my mind the lack of Band 20 (for Europe), no official global rom, limited availability and import taxes are the core problems right now. A few months patience and the online 3rd party retailers might lead to a good purchase (price+rom).
Not having micro sd memory card for storage expansion, and no 3.5mm headphone jack are the 2 biggest reasons why I hate this phone. The memory card problem can be solved by getting the 128gb version but no headphone jack ?? come on, it's really stupid not to have that. Not even the 835 processor can help.
Also, what's the point having SD835 with 10nm tech and all the bells and whistles for reducing power consumption, but having only 3350 mah. Come on, at least it should have 4000 mah, so it could last all day long. A test video on utub shows it can last 7h35m for gaming, with 4000 mah it's about +19% = 9 hours, this should be much better considering battery life will drop over time.
A could-be-great phone but stupid decision to remove the basics a phone should have really cripples it.
And please, Xiaomi, if you ever decide to produce the Mi Max ultra that I stated below, don't reduce the battery capacity, remove the ir blaster, remoce sd card support, and remove sd card support like you do on your current flagships. Only Apple's iphone can get away with it because a sleek and classy slim appearance and brand name is Apple's ONLY unique selling feature and no Android phone can take it away from them. Yes, even Samsung. So stop copying Apple's removal of headphone jacks, no sd card, no FM radio, etc. Samsung copied Apple's dumbing down strategy in the name of classy but empty appearnces and in the end, lost many of their flagship customers to xiaomi's flagships due to removal of ir blaster. Xiaomi is apparently committing the same mistake.
I really can't understand why Xiaomi's flagship phones don't have FM radios or an sd card support while all its other lower priced phones have those features. Snapdragon 835 is becoming very generic and what sets apart one flagship phone from another really are these smaller, niche things/features: big, >4000 mAh batteries, larger than 6" screens, ir blaster, headphone jacks, sd card support and dual sim support. Almost all flagships with snapdragon 835 have stupidly reduced battery capacity, removed FM radio, headphone jack, sd card support, etc, all in the name of slimmer profiles/bodies and an ip68 water resistant features. They end up becoming too similar and generic that price and brand name becomes their only unique selling proposition which is not enough to change their market share. If Xiaomi wants to grab the flagship market share from Samsung, it has to offer features that the Samsung doesn't have. Copying Samsung's removal of FM radio, removal of headphone jack, removal of ir blaster and sd card support will only make it fare worse than Samsung. Give us a bigger than 6" screen flagship with snapdragon 835 and all of the features you removed above and you can be sure your market share will skyrocket. A Mi Max Ultra with 6.8" screen and snapdragon 835 will sell like hotcakes.
I need some suggestion about honor 8 and mi 6
I know mi have sd 835 with higher clock speed and sd 835 is even fast then kirin 960
And other way honor 8 a great mobail in responsable price well i like perfomance for egaming
So what if i choose mi 6 becuse of sd 835 ? But heard alot of bad review about bad rom managment and what when i get becuse of latest chip but it wont satisty me , i never hear anything bad about honor 8
Guide me guys i donot wanna get wrong device what about iphone se its very fast but sadly screen size is not good fo gaming right?
If it's not the blue model, check the rings around the camera. If they're gold (18 karat) then it's ceramic.

Specify one (or more if you have), don't just spread FUD. My Mi account is dated as old as Jul-27-2013 and I never have any single problem with it.

But then again, you can get a 256Gb one for a little more than half the price of other flagships which probably only has 64Gb, maybe less.

Under sufficient light my phone can do 4k@26fps(100Mbps). The quality is great. But then again under low light everything goes massively downhill.
