Yes, Sharp did release the first bezel-less smartphone, but in the US it only comes on Sprint, Boost Mobile, or Virgin Mobile. Also, the bottom chin was HUGE and having to turn the phone to use the front camera is kind of annoying. It was also really small (to me).
I'm really interested in this phone and hope it comes to the US at a reasonable price.
Felix schumann, 26 Oct 2016Its actually not the first bezel less display phone. Aquas sharp did it in 2014, so this is ju... moreYou are very correct Felix, and MKBHD did a great review of it. I think that this device will cause some issues for those flagships.
I don't know how Xiaomi comes up with the 91% screen to body ratio. GSM arena is correct it is 84%. Even less for anything 16:9 with a black bar or apps showing the on screen buttons. It's still the highest but flagship Samsung phones with much better specs are already at 79%.

Is it going to be durable? How long will it last? Isn't is supposed to be lower quality?
DianGara, 26 Oct 2016Does this beautiful phone comes with tap-tap tech as LG or Asus? Otherwise it will be harder e... moreYou dont need that if you have a fingerprint sensor. You just have to tap your fingerprint and hola the screen awake and unlock direct to the home screen.
It might look like the Aquas sharp but at a different level, the specs and looks only because of the smaller chin.
Does this beautiful phone comes with tap-tap tech as LG or Asus? Otherwise it will be harder everytime to make screen goes on by clicking the right power on button. It should be a must feature included on the big screen/high tech phone. Samsung or iPhone still embed the front button (active or passive) and it still helps user so much.
