Well if it gets damaged by water, just buy a new one... You get 2 for the price of one iPhone that is not waterresistant either
Abi, 10 Nov 2016It does matter. It's likely to be priced around 600$ and what's the use of buying if it's isn'... moreEverything comes with a pricetag. Nothing is free.
Xiaomi will make a phone Ip68 rated and best of military standard, with price tag of $800+.
Will you buy it with prepaid in 100% advance?
I know you wont coz then you will cry for it being overpriced. Xiaomi is known for being price competetive. Everything has its sacrifices. This a great phone at specs it offers.
You are a person who is more interested in finding faults in something rather than having a positive outlook. I remember replying your such comments on some other forum too.
You can't be serious. The world was purchasing smartphones long before Sony made waterproofness a thing. I have never had a water-related accident on any of my phones - just because a phone is not certified doesn't mean they can't be used in the rain...
James, 04 Nov 2016Lol, does it matter? Waterproofing does not matter. It does matter. It's likely to be priced around 600$ and what's the use of buying if it's isn't waterproof/resistant coz that's the most important specification. I wouldnt wanna regret afterit accidentally gets damage by water.

aatif khan, 04 Nov 2016iPhone 7,Moto Z, Pixels, Samsung active series are all IP rated. And their price tag is 1.5 to... moreYeah that make sense to me, people just want a perfect device with the best price tag. Why don't they just stop whining and get something else with a sky high price, heh ridiculous.
Anonymous, 27 Oct 2016Once Xiaomi becomes famous, they'll start raising their pricesSo that why we should not buy it while its cheap?
Abi, 03 Nov 2016Too bad it isnt waterproof. All those huge specifications but no water resistant makes it incompleteiPhone 7,Moto Z, Pixels, Samsung active series are all IP rated. And their price tag is 1.5 to 2 times Mi Note 2.
If you are ready to pay the tag, Xiaomi will amke it IP rated.
