Rocket Racoon, 08 Jul 2015I have Xiaomi mi2s for a year, and Xiaomi mipad for almost a year, overall I'm satisfied enough ... moreI got my Mi Note Pro yesterday. Apart from the battery being a bit underdimensioned compared to the screen and specs, it is super fast and fluid. Runs just about anything. Has 4G support as well. Like I said, battery life isn't the best, but buy a power bank and you're good to go.
I have Xiaomi mi2s for a year, and Xiaomi mipad for almost a year, overall I'm satisfied enough with them both, now I'm planing to upgrade mi2s to mi note pro,but kinda not very sure about the MIUI lolipop,is it buged?I hope it's not
the last time I try MIUI lolipop for mi2s it has a lot of bugs, not very good for daily use,I know the MIUI lolipop for mi2s is just a special edition, but in my opinion Xiaomi or MIUI update is slow, only little unimportant update for every weeks (I'm using dev rom)
I guess it's time for Xiaomi or MIUI to get more focuss on their rom development
also the aftersales of Xiaomi must be improved, make the warranty and services globally then Xiaomi will beat other big brand everywhere
anyway back to the mi note pro,is it worth to buy?for daily use?
Anyone familiar with Xiaomi's spying on Xiaomi phone owners?

Lang son, 16 Jun 2015Not good phone. I preffer my old Note3. 3-4 weeks with the Mi Note Pro. My comments with the n... moreWow. I did not know this phone was $600. I thought it would be cheaper than the top competitive phones. Hopefully it will be better when they start selling it in the US market.
Okay, just got the phone yesterday and just completed migrating from Xiaomi Note LTE to this Note Pro! This experience is from Manila, Philippines. I will update as per use but here are initial actual experience. 1.English language is available to set it up. No more google installer in MI Market that sets up your google stuff. You have to extend search usingu Baidu. Search for Chrome and install it. It will then tell you to install prerequisite apps like google play. Launch chrome and type gmail in Url. Login so that android will login google. Then go ahead install Google Play store. You need to install and update google services as well. 2. Yes, there's heating but it's normal as you use the powerful chipset. My old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is comparable. 3. Android Lollipop has some differences to the miui. 4. 4G/LTE works on both sims. It works for Smart and Globe. The Note only had 4G/LTE for Globe. This Pro got speed. 5. Stop for now. I'll give more as I have.
The phone arrives in Chinesse. Difficult to find the option to change it english. No more languages. No google market. Any google option. You have to donwload the market and other important google apps from internet...(take care what apks you install from unstrusted sources...).
No possiblity of 4g!!!!!!
