It looks like Xiaomi is all set to introduce its latest flagship smartphone – the Mi 4 on July 22. Lei Jun, the company’s president has teased the upcoming device on his Weibo account.
The teaser image doesn’t give much away. It features a large number ‘4’ with a brushed metal background. There is a tagline underneath the image that reads “The journey of a piece of steel metal”.
Xiaomi Mi 4 is rumored to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 801 or 805 chipset. If the rumors are to be trusted, the device will feature 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a 13 megapixel rear shooter.
Lei Jun had earlier confirmed that their next flagship smartphone will come out with LTE support. However, it remains to be seen if the smartphone supports LTE advance with carrier aggregation.
We will know more about the Mi 4 when the device goes official on July 22. Meanwhile, we will keep you posted with all the leaks and other details that come our way.
