My Xolo handset started malfunctioning on the 4th month of purchase. I device was handed over to the Xolo service centre in Calicut (Mobile Lab) on February 24, 2014. (Work Order Number: 310000285355). More than 45 days and still Xolo care has not returned my handset. I have contacted the service centre, who stated that the handset has been sent to Xolo facility for servicing. I have registered a complaint in CORE.NIC.IN, the consumer complaint portal and still there is no reply. Xolo is not a good brand. Their service is the worst in the world. Please stay away from Xolo products.
Xolo Q1000 is a bad phone. Guys, please don't buy. Battery becomes dead within 6 months, has network catching problem and has many other problems.
I brought q1000 but clearity of 8 mp camara look like 2 mg of Sony mobile further shuting clearity in nignt is completely dull can any body suggest me resolution as i have never used smart phone before this.
OK so I checked up the specs and the dev on this device
I made these deductions uptil now.
quad core mtk6589 processor is good but heats up a lot
camera is amazing (13 mp ) but the front cam is not good
5 inch display is perfect for gaming
1.2ghz quad core is also good for multitasking
battery is decent enough but 3g eats it really fast
no OTG USB support is not a bad thing though
pricing should have been around 10k not a market value of 14k
slim is good but it is a reason for phone heat up
the phone currently has these ROMs and stuff
NOte3 port PAC ROM
but the biggest problem is service
yeah it is bad you gotta know how to use it
Try to buy it locally rather than online
rooting is to be done at your own risk.
and yes hate opinions are just because of bad user-buyer choices so don't start thinking shit about companies. relying on others in formations and advices will harm you only. Try to make your own choices after self test the phones as half of these reviewers also claim it to be good
Final : The phone is a good device at such a price but still there are lack in builds. Yet for low budget guy like me, I would like to buy it 100%

Just one month back i had purchased Q1000 Xolo and with in one month i am facing a problem with the touch screen. Dont / never go for this brand.
After sales service is awesome ever i had seen in my life. They know only sales service no after sales service.

The display becomes lines... Just four days after purchasing it.. And creating different sounds when calling... Battery becomes very heat , raise in temperature suddenly....

I am using xolo q1000.. I was really happy when I bought it and really impressed by its features.. its an awesome phone.. its better than sony.. it is equivalent to motorola g... already 2 months now since i bought it and all in all no complaints or hiccups so far...am very satisfied with this mobile...feeling very much proud of having Intel Xolo q1000 :D
I bought the Q1000 on 27th Feb 2014 from the same shop that i have been buying my phones since past 10 years. Given the price it was all looking right. Within 10 days the touch screen went bad. Could not press a number or alphabet correctly. So I went back to the store and they asked me to go to PRIME MALL where their service center is. To my surprise the engineer at the service center told me why did I buy Q1000 , this is xolo's most troubled model. Now i had just bought this 10 days ago!!! They have very week AFTER SALES infrastructure. I was told that it will take 21 working days to fix the touch screen , now this is totally not done. Even today as of 1st April i have NOT yet received my phone. I think these companies who launch cheap mobile phones with weak after sales support should not get operating license. After waiting for so long I told them to replace the handset as it has gone bad in just 10 days and they refused. XOLO guys told me that they replace a phone only if it goes bad in 7 days. I am sure with this kind of attitude they will shut shop soon.
