Xperia X1 runs on Windows 6.1
Recent photos leaked reveal the OS that lies beneath the glossy surface of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 smart device. Since members of the press were not allowed to touch the Xperia X1 at the Mobile World Congress, we were only left guessing that the device runs on the Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS.
Hungarian website terminal.hu has posted live hands-on photos of the Xperia X1 system screens. As it turns out, this little devil runs on the yet unannounced Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 internals
Sony Ericsson were rather unwilling to talk about the hardware part of the device too, but some of the photos cast away all doubts about the 520 MHz CPU used along with the Qualcomm 7200 chipset, the 128MB of available RAM and the 1500 mAh battery.
