A new ZTE smartphone has been spotted in benchmark listings. Listed on GFXbench as ZTE Z986, the device is powered by a Snapdragon SoC with octa-core 2.0GHz processor, and sports a large 6-inch full HD display.
RAM is 2GB, while storage is 16GB. The camera department is handled by a 12MP or 13MP main unit and a 5MP front shooter. The handset runs Android version 7.1.1 out of the box.
Yes it's a low priced phone but it shouldn't have such outdated specs, there should have been at least 32gb of internal memory and 3gb of ram, I'm sure they could have managed this within a tight budget, but honestly 16gb makes it totally irrelevant.
Yes, I agree 110 % with you. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE601KL could not be updated in OS due to fota error. I am stuck with the factory ver 5.0 OS. So I will stay away from ZTE and Asus henceforth. So, Xiaomi is still ok in its frequent updates of MIUI...
outright lousy specs. Why make lousy phones?? Maybe it is targeting low income countries which still use 2G bands.
