5 megapixel Nokia N96 pictures leaked

You know we rarely deal with rumors but this one is just too interesting (and real) to go unnoticed. Live photos of an unseen before Nokia N96 handset has surfaced online. The mobile features the dual slide design and overall looks as a hybrid between N95 and N81.

This could be just a Nokia N96 prototype that will never see the sun but nonetheless the handset deserves some attention. The 5 megapixel camera is one of the very few specs that can be guessed at this stage. The Nokia N96 will also feature auto focus, Carl Zeiss lens and dual LED flash.

An interesting feature is the added kick stand at the back of the phone which allows it to be placed on its side improving video watching experience. The loudspeakers are also repositioned and have found their place on the right side of the device - each on both edges.

The user interface is also very interesting as it might just be the new Symbian 9.5 with Feature pack 2 included. The WLAN support is also certain as its ID number is visible on the label on the backside.

We are as eager as you to see if this feature-packed baby will actually become official so we will be watching the matter closely.
