A $10 tether should supposedly keep your AirPods together

Apple iOS

Where there's a problem, there's probably a solution to be found. It's an entirely different matter whether the problem had to exist in the first place, but that's irrelevant.

Case in point - Apple's AirPods. You know, the EarPods minus the cable. Well, here's a cable for them, that's not really a cable, but will serve its secondary purpose of keeping the two together, so you don't lose one of the $159 pair of wireless earbuds.

The AirPods Strap comes from Spigen, and costs $9.99 right now on Amazon, but that's a discounted price off from its official $19.99. It's not in stock, and will only start shipping on October 17, but the AirPods themselves won't be available until late October, so you should be safe.

Meanwhile, if you're one of those people affected by the other arbitrarily created issue and want to listen to music while charging your iPhone 7, let's remind you that there's a solution for that (replace 'solution' with 'dongle') - a $40 Belkin-made one.

"....Eventually this will cost us more ...." It's already costing us more. 160 bucks for a pair with the audio quality of a 30 $ pair (and which you'll loose with slight gush of wind).

"...i'm more concerned about adding more devices to the charging list when i get home..." Someone seems to get it ;-) Don't forget the recycling of all this "lithium-"battery infused tech? Eventually this will cost us more than if they'd mad...

"Meanwhile, if you're one of those people affected by the other arbitrarily created issue..." You mean commercially created issue, don't you? There's nothing arbitrarily on this. It's deliberate.
