I also have this phone and it is terrible please don't buy it ,the android Market stops working after some time and then u can't download anything. For me it hangs around 2or 3 times a day. The camera is pathetic in this phone u can't even zoom and there is VGA recording I have done 2 or3 factory resets and still nothing has changed. Music is very bad and if you want to do something in background it hangs

I have one of these phones here's a few stats:
Good :
CAN upgrade to 2.1 - Mine currently already is
DOES have BlueTooth
DOES have Wifi
Is a nice BASIC smartphone
Looks and feels nice
ONLY nice as a BASIC smartphone
I get good battery - with basic use
Bad :
Camera is TERRIBLE
Camera is VERY bad
Screen looks good upright - but terrible sideways
Processor is very limited & slow
Has NO GFX processor - Can hardly run any games
Can ONLY play LOWEST quality youtube
Probably too poor processor for skype
This is a good phone for BASIC use, but it's a very CHEAP end of the market product. It CANNOT compete with phones 3X it's price - it is a BASIC phone for ppl who need to use actual productivity tools on a smartphone, NOT for gamers and videos and all sorts of other junk.
It's a basic Android that DOES work well IF you use it for what its supposed to be used for - a TELEPHONE - not a DSLR, Not a CINEMA , Not a PLAYSTATION, Not a NETBOOK, a TELEPHONE.
I have also had reasonable success with the GPS and google maps - It runs the "CoPilot Live GPS" full navigation software, which supports offline and online maps, quite well - but that is a separate product.

Installation is easy as well, just backup your data 1st.

kofxi, 11 Jan 2011I'm so confused .It said the phone got 3G , but where is the front 3G camera or the position c... more3G does not mean 2 cameras, 3G means a faster Internet connection.
This phone is not intended for video calls.

acer e i20 is not really good one to get hands on....no bluetooth,wi fi camera works properly.........camera is little bit good but only in day light.........really acer need to work hard to bring out a good phone............

I am living in brunei, here they sold acer e120 with the resistive touch type, is there any difference?. I am very confused! all the specification are ok, except for the screen type. Which is the correct one??

because it's android. try symbian for video calling
