I accidentally dropped mine and cracked the screen. It comes on but i cannot unlock it or use it now.

this tablet cannot do voice calls, whatsapp or blackberry messenger, but it is very good worth for the money if you're looking for a multimedia tablet.

moorthy, 31 Mar 2014hi did any one using acericonia a1-811 tab it is nice or worst product please told me friends?Hi moorthy, i bought it since dec. I am very satisfied with this tablet, especially its camera and video quality. But unfortunately some applications is not compatible with it such as Asphalt 8 and newest BBM, but it can run gingerbread BBM. Overall It is quite perrfect with cheap price.

+ Pros: Affordable price
5MP good camera quality
quad-core processors runs applications quite smoothly although sometimes it lagged
bright,good screen resolution although I dont know exactly how much pixel density
enough fast 3G connection even in my country not yet support LTE
8" wide screen with narrow bezel
- Contras: material body casing made of plastic, makes it not like prestigious product
only support single sim card
no phone call support,only support sms,but I hadn't tried yet since I only used acer a1-811 just for surfing the web
back coverveasy tonget dirty especially when your hands are sweat
if you want to avoid no lag in running most of your applications,you should substitute your android tablets to iOS pads. iOS pads also have longer battery life

i just want to ask what type of sim card does this tab use? Is it micro or nano? i'm trying to use a micro sim but it doesn't locked up once i insert it.. I'm from the Philippines by the way.
